My wife is fine. Took the baby to the ped. yesterday. He's part of a practice. Older than my father I think-and the same name. He was going to retire when Joey was born, but I don't think he has it in him. The baby started crying, he just picked him up in this awkward looking way and he stopped in about 2 seconds. It makes you feel good when all the nurses in L&D use the same practice for their kids.

The official report from the doc was perfectly healthy.

Joey is a little freak. Yesterday morning I had the baby in the frontroom to change him. He started crying a little because he doesn't seem to like the cold air. Joey was sleeping, but came running out of his bed asking what was wrong with the baby. He was a PITA all day yesterday because of it. He woke up about 2 1/2 hours early. In a way, he thinks he's one of his toys...only the best toy ever.
