Good morning!
Thanks for breakfast. I needed that.

I think I can actually get this one. PM sent.

Have a great day. I need to type some more of Matthew's
poems. They are actually somewhat amusing for a ten
year old.

Sue

Breakfast sure looks yummy. Thanks.

You guys always start my days with a :teeth:

PM on it's way with a first guess. I'll check back later when Amy is at school.

PM sent, seems like an easy one, but those usually are the tough ones. Hope everyone is well, seems like a spring thaw here today, plus Maddux is back in Cubby blue. :bounce:

I should have a new PC delivered today, hope I am not off line too long, or maybe forever.

Good Morning Sue:

hmmmm...melora should be waking up soon!!!!

:wave2: to Melora and all of our west coast groupies who are just stumbling out of bed.....(*remember those days Marsha??*)

I remember them well, but I am trying my darndest to keep up the habit. Pete took the dogs out before he leftr for the office, so I didn't have to get up till I woke up on my own. Tomorrow is a different story, he has a 6:10 am flight. SO once againm dog duty falls on me.

They seem okay, but I do recall that Gus was trying to avoid it when "the wicked stepmother" (not to be confused with "the mean mom") started to pour it in the cup.

AJ, don't make me come over there! You better get that room cleaned up!

How's that? Sounds like another Angel kid to add to the boot camp list. ;)

I don't know about AJ, but I made sure my room was clean after that!
:scared1:

Oh yeah, the AJ story.....forgive me for posting on the thread I didn't say I was going to post it on....:o There's cross contamination, so I'm sure everyone is sure to read both :)

AJ came home from school yesterday and had a huge egg over his eye. It was black and blue and had a scratch down the center of it. So I asked him what happened, he told me someone pushed him into his cubby in class, and the teacher had him put an ice pack on it. I asked if he went to the nurse, he said no, I asked if he cried, he said no....but then I kept looking at it....and it really looked sore.......

Fortunately for me, unfortunately for her, Andrew's teacher has sons in our cub scout pack, and last night was pack meeting. SO, as she walked by me.....(obvious to me and the other moms I was talking to, she was avoiding me...yeah go figure  )I stopped her and asked her what happened. Her version of the story is that AJ walked into the cubby, and she didn't realize how bad it was until the started crying (IS THAT an accurate guage of a child's injury??????) so she sent one of the other kids to the nurse for an ice pack and it wasn't until she picked up the kids from gym class that she noticed the scratch.

Longer story short...she knew I was going to be irritated that nobody called me...but wasn't much she could do at that point.

Just fries my *** that nobody called me.
Fortunately, he's okay! Looks like he's been in a war, and there is some discrepency over how the injury occurred....but there isn't much I can do other than worry! :) I have a hard time understanding how a 7 year old just "walks into" his cubby.....

Even if she wasn't positive how the injury happened, she still should have called you and let you know that he was injured!! Or had the nurse look at it! I would be mad too. I am glad he is OK, though!
