We check out on a Thursday and are not going to the parks. I am looking for a suggestion for a nice brunch or lunch that is not a buffet, something special before we leave the magic and hit the road. Two adults.

Thank you!

Jazz Kitchen in downtown Disney is pretty nice and the food is great. Also Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland hotel is very nice but a bit more money. I'd go with the Jazz Kitchen.

The Original Pancake House on Lincoln (about 5-10 minutes northeast of the parks) is wonderful for breakfast. Not fancy, but homey and delicious! They are open until 2 pm (check the website or call to make sure). If you will be heading that direction anyway, this is a can't miss! Also agree that the above recs are fun, too. Also check out Catal in DTD. You can see the DTD and DLR hotel menus here on the DIS http://www.wdwinfo.com/disneyland/dining.htm

Catal has a very nice breakfast in Downtown Disney, and Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Hotel - those are my go-to restaurants for breakfast, and occasionally La Brea Bakery.
