First of all, I hope everyone in the panhandle, Alabama, Mississippi and other parts that got hit by Ivan fare well and are safe.

Now on to the World...
Thursday was an early morning for us... Had to wake up early for a 7:05am date with Mickey & the gang at Chef Mickey's for breakfast. This is a first for us as we've only done dinner here before. So we get there, the breakfast was very good. They had hash browns, cheesy hash browns, cheesy omelet, lox for bagels, fruits, donuts, rice krispies treats, breakfast pizza, and a whole slew of things.

Mickey's outfit is different now. He no longer wears a chef's white outfit - what he wears now is a red chef's outfit with a gold cooking medal around his neck - kind of what you picture an award winning chef might wear after he won the Bocuse D'Or.

After CM, we decided to go to MK for a little while. We definitely saw more crowds this morning although it's still light compared to the other times we've gone in the past. Since we weren't in the mood to wait more than 5 minutes (GASP!!!!) for a ride, after going on Buzz 3x in a row, AstroOrbiter, Indyland, and taking in Cinderella's Suprise Celebration - we made a beeline for Epcot.

Went to Epcot and boy was it hot! I mean hot with a capital H! But we trudged along the entire world showcase, stopping along the way to take in the beer sampler at the Rose & Crown, a pretzel in Germany, gelato in Italy, watching the candy lady do her magic, several rides and shows, and some pastries in France. It started raining around 4:45pm for about 1/2 hour but no biggie.

We made our way out of Epcot cause we wanted to go to Beaches & Cream again for dinner this time. Love love love this place. Another must-do for us. B&C was again empty when we got there - hey... where the heck is everybody? (not that I'm complaining).... If you've never tried their chicken noodle soup, I suggest trying it. It was the best chicken noodle soup I've had in a long time. Nice blend of spices, and the broth was very chickeny!

So... we're back at POFQ now after deciding to take the night off and get some rest. Needed to get laundry done anyway so we just hung around the resort this time.

That's all for this edition of the World... Only 3 more days and our vacation is over...WAAAAA! I need more time! More time!

So... all ye good folks... stay tuned for the next edition of ... the World...

have fun but make your next report shorter :D

Sounds like you had another great day! Love Beaches & Cream! I'll have to try the soup next time we're there!:sunny:
