thunderstorms in July/August?

I read in another post about the Castaway Cay stop being washed out by thunderstorms. We have been to WDW in the summer and know about the daily thunderstorms there. If we do a cruise in July or August, are we likely to experience frequent storms there also?

We were on CC August 2, 2003. It was a beautiful sunny day, until about 2pm when the black clouds started to roll in.

They just past on by though, without releasing one drop of rain to spoil our day in paradise.

I have been to CC 3x in August. Only last summer did we leave early due to rain. The first 2x the weather has been spectacular. Even last summer we had a great day until about 2pm.
