Thunderbird resort~~ Treasure Island

Has anyone that you know of gone to Treasure Island and stayed at the Thunderbird resort? If so what did you think about it? We are thinking of booking and staying in one of the Gulf Front rooms. I would love any insite to this please.

Haven't stayed there, but it looks nice. We have stayed at the Seahorse Cottages down the street, no pool but right on the beach, clean/cozy and way cheaper!

We have also stayed at the Blue Water Cottages down the road. Heated pool, clean/roomy and reasonable prices. This place is across from the beach - you walk across a non-busy street to a bridge and the beach is right there. Extremely relaxing.
