We just got back from a 14 day stay at this hotel.. and it was awesome!

We paid $39/night, which was great rate. It was on the corner of Sandlake Road and Universal Blvd. (2 minute drive to Universal or a VERY HEALTHY walk--we saw some people doing it!)

The $39 rate included a free breakfast which had fruit medley, (you scooped it out) and free standing bananas, apples, oranges. There were waffles, English Muffins, Bagels, 2 types of bread for toast. (you toasted them yourselves)

There also was pecan swirls, blueberry muffins, and usually four kinds of donuts.

There was juice, apple orange, fruit punch as well. Plus coffee/tea/hot chocolate.

The room was fine. there was a Microwave, and fridge in the room as well. Drawer space was a little tight, but there was a BIG closet so clothes that didn't fit went on the top shelf.

Housekeeping was fantastic. They were there everyday by 1 pm.
The pool area was nice, there was a decent sized pool, plus a water fountain "mushroom" type thing which squirted out in a fountain with ankle deep water.

They had towels out there by the pool area, which were replenished.

If you are looking for a clean, decently priced, room with a little extra, go for it.

Its very close to Universal and WEt n Wild. It was a 10 minute drive to Seaworld, and about the same for Disney. They did offer a free Disney shuttle we never used it though.

There also was free local calls.

The front desk staff was amazing, they really went out of your way to make you feel welcome.

This was my first trip offsite at Disney, and well, it will be hard to go back onsite after this!

I stay at Hampton Inns for business frequently. Better than avg continental breakfast, always clean consistent rooms, and FWIW, they got a JD Powers award for best mid-price chain with
limited food service.

Wow. I just checked out the availablity and they are NA in the third week of Jan.
This must be a very nice place for the price if they are booked already!

I ALSO TRYED FOR MAY 3RD THRU THE 10TH.
AND IT SAID NA.
SO I THINK I WILL TRY CALLING.

Not sure if this one is on there, but I got much better rates at another Hampton Inn via a website called Avistahotels.com. The rates were lower than Expedia or the Hampton Inn website. Just FYI. Maybe you can book it through there.
