As mentioned, there are still plenty of places even near the parks that have times available. The ultra-populars will have likely been scooped up months ago, but that doesn't mean there's nowhere to go.
A few tricks:
- Don't input a restaurant name. This will keep things open to see what is available.
- Don't use the "meal" selections for the time, use a time close to when you'd like to eat. Often times, those meal selections are a bit weird and don't show everything.
- If looking for a specific place, keep trying. Often times there are openings that will come up when you least expect them. The online system makes it relatively easy (as long as you don't use Firefox for now

) to check them several times a day.
The loss of the date range option on this system hurts things a bit (before you could search for a specific restaurant at a general time over the span of up to 5 days), but just keep at it. It'll all work out in the end

.
Also, if you're an odd number group (don't remember your party size), check for reservations for +1. The system historically has had issues with odd numbers. Note: due to credit card requirements, do NOT do this for CRT, any of the dinner shows, Akershus, or California Grill! If the reservation asks for your CC info, it's going to be either prepaid or a hold and you can (and often will) be charged even if part of your party shows up!
