Throw That Pumpkin! Game closed, thanks everyone!

Hey this is a GREAT and fun game and the theming is absolutely perfect!! I also liked the way you kept gentle but fun control over the room !!! Thanks, Lori!!

I wasn't so calm and gentle when I tried to put my room on Friends Only.
Either a ton of people were able to wait at the door, or it didn't work!

I was getting a bit frantic because I didn't want players to keep entering,
so I used the Call for Help button. I really didn't want to do that,
but I didn't know if I had a game bug. Apparently the room did close down,
but I was getting a bit cross with everyone entering.

And just like any other game I've hosted, I had players who wanted to stay,
to pay to play. No matter how many times I tell them that I don't charge
people to play, I believe in free games, they won't leave. I have to boot
when that happens.

And lastly, I didn't copy Extras game. I want to thank him for coming into
my game to tell me that he had his game first. I'm happy for him.

I think I'm going to stick to making hang out rooms from now on.
You get no respect from trying to make a fun game for everyone to play.

I for one would have trouble putting together a game and am sure it would be about 5 minutes before I would be booting people out the door for one reason or another. I takes a spacial peson to handle running these things and you did great.

I was seriously considering closing down my game for good. I'm going to
sleep on it. I'm really happy that I've gotten very nice feedback from
people. If there were ways to improve the game, I'd be open to ideas.

You'd think by now I'd get used to the hassles of running a game.

Aww. Briar, I'm sad that you had such hassles with your game later on. I played when you first opened it and I just loved the theming and the flow of the game. I wish I had your creativity when it comes to thinking up games.

I do hope you'll consider the sources of these hassles and just continue on your merry way with creating games. VMK would be a much less interesting place without them.

Very well said! Doll I was with you early last week when you came up with the idea. I am very impressed by how you put it all together. Look at this way only successful room and game designs are getting the negative " I thought of it first" or "You copied me" comments!

Thanks everyone. I wanted to add that the person who was rude to me in
the game (under a different character that I didn't know was her) sent
me a PM to apologize for being rude and disrespectful.

I want to go public to thank her for apologizing to me. That meant a lot.
And I think it took a lot of courage to do that.

I'll run my game again. I'll wait a day though. I think I'll open my game
tomorrow at 7pm eastern time Monday night.

Just a foot note, Extras was once titled "gertle". Before I deconstructed the -Trivia Team-, players like this had found our hosted forums and immediately latched themselves onto the label that had once became so well known.

I can say he was one of many driving forces that prompted us to not only rename our team (to VMK MasterMinds), but go completely private from such prying eyes as well. I can assure you, your efforts and authenticity have been plagiarized.

Game is fabulous, as before with a great twist on giving the prizes. Thanks, Briar Lori, for a ton of fun, plus I finally got to SEE a host - Lily came and visited, she looked so cute in her tour guide uniform. This was great fun!!

I never gave much thought about using the quest machine for game prizes,
but I must admit, when I saw Disvaclub using it with her game, I had to
use it for mine. It saves a LOT of time opening trade requests!
(And I know Fly was probably happy about that when she won!)

Later, I saw Slinkyman's game, and he also had a prize teleporter setup.
Looks like the great ideas have a way of getting around.
