Thrilled with the Orbitz discounts.

Do I have it right that you have to pay in full up front when you book when using Orbitz? I'd book right now if I didn't have to pay in full right now but I don't want that much money tied up right now. With all taxes and fees I'm getting an average of $371/night for GF club level outer building ($317 + taxes and fees) which is about as low as I figure I'll ever see these rooms. Through Disney they're an average of $447/night ($397 + tax). That's $76 PER NIGHT savings on top of the current discount. And that doesn't even include the Orbucks or ebates rebate making it an even better net price. The 20% off code is DISCOVER and I believe it expires April 1.

Yes you pay in full but they have a decent cancellation policy. (Or so it seems, I haven't tested it)

When I price this out online it seems to be charging me an extra person fee (1 adult 2 kids). When I take a child off, it changes the rate. Anyone else have this issue? **NEvermind, read the other thread**

Yes, most people say to book with max 2 adults. Then call Orbitz to add the kids. No additional charge to add the kids later.

I had booked with a lower discount, then a higher one came out, so I had to cancel and rebook. It was very easy, no fees, and my credit card was credited within 3 days. Very good experience!!! :goodvibes

The cancellation policy used is Disney's policy for room-only reservations (full refund if you cancel more than 5 days before arrival; you forfeit your first night's cost if you cancel after). You do have to pay Orbitz in full when you book, but you will get a full refund if you cancel (through Orbitz) more than 5 days before arrival.

I am looking at aoa suite and it is cheaper on the summer offer on disney than orbitz.

can you link my disney experience with dining etc? sorry I am trying to search and read up on this. We are going 8/9-8/16 and want to get the best rate. we normally stay in a 2 bedroom at bonnet creek so this is a splurge

don't know what you mean. Do you mean the dining plan? You can't get a dining plan on an Orbitz reservation.
