I have two children that want to go on some of the thrill rides (ages 5 & 7) with me. My concern is if we won't fit 3 in a row together on the rides.

*Dinosaur-looks like from the picture that 3 fit in a row. Is this correct?
*Expedition Everest-Will they let my 7 year old sit in front of my 5 year old and myself?
*Kali River Rapids-We can all sits in our own seats next to each other, correct? It looks like there's 2 seats together and then a separation and another 2 seats, etc.

*Barnstormer-If I take all three of my kids on this ride (7, 5, and 4) can my 7 and 5 year old sit in front of my 4 year old and myself?
*Seven Dwarfs Mine Train-If I take all three of my kids on this ride (7, 5, and 4) can my 7 and 5 year old sit in front of my 4 year old and myself?
*Space Mountain-Will my 5 and 7 year old be able to sit in front of me in the single file line?
*Splash Mountain-Will my 5 and 7 year old fit in the seat with me?
*Big Thunder Mountain-Will my 5 and 7 year old fit in the seat with me?
Also when will Big Thunder Mountain open back up?

Thanks for your help.
I'm guessing most of the other rides (non thrill rides) won't be a problem because my 7 year old and 5 year old can sit together and myself and my 4 year old can sit together. Am I thinking right on this

The 7 year old can sit alone but can't sit with the 5 year old (who also can't sit alone). If you and your kids are thin BTMR and Splash are doable, with 3 across if I remember correctly. Dinosaur is 4 across so you're good there. You're good for EE with the 7 year old in front. I haven't ridden Space in a while and have never ridden Kali so I can't say there.

Disney rules anyone under 7 must ride with someone 14 and older.

I'm assuming another adult will be with you, since you mention taking the 5 & 7 year olds on some rides without the 4 year old. Can that adult ride with you on the rides where you're taking all 3 kids? That way, one of you can sit with the 4 yo and one with the 5 yo (and the 7 yo alone).

I've never had to deal with multiple younger kids but my understanding is riding together means same ride car and not necessarily same row. the big thing here is prep your child that you can all ride together but the younger one might(will) be required to sit with you and they may find some rides they are next to both of you but not in the same row. Maybe aim for some ride where you can easily see each other first to get them comfortable with that situation.. Barstormer comes to mind as your not going to fit 3 together but the backs are low and it's a lap bar so they can easily look and see/talk to you. then build up to the rides where your in teh same car but they aren't going to just turn around and see you and someone else will be next to them.

Space is 1 rider per seat but it's 2 ride cars with 6 total seats. I think you'd just be put together in the same ride car in this situation.

From other threads I've read on these boards, it seems that experiences vary, and there isn't an actual written rule defining whether the rule means "same vehicle row" or "same vehicle (i.e., not separated by a coupling)." Some have reported that their under-7 child was not permitted to ride in a different row on 7DMT in particular.

I took my 6 and 4 year olds on kali last week. You will all have your own seats in one raft. It was fine. You will all fit in the same row in splash.

Dinosaur: Fine - can all fit in one row
Kali River Rapids - Fine. If you're in the raft you're together.
Space Mountain - Fine. Since it's single file seating you're considered together in one car.
Big Thunder Mountain / Splash Mountain - Fine. Usually can fit 1 adult with 2 kids in a row.

Expedition Everest / Mine Train -Should be fine with the caveat I've heard some CMs are inconsistent. Those cars can only fit 2 next to each other but most reports I've read say that if you're in two rows of the same car you're considered together. I think the 7 year old will need to ride alone with you next to the 5 year old.
Barnstormer - I cannot remember the seating or cars but would assume a similar rule to those above.

Our experience with Barnstormer is no. They do not consider separate rows in the same car "together." We've had inconsistent answers on 7DMT. The first time we rode we didn't realize about the age limits and asked to put an 8 yo and 6 yo together and they said no problem as long as the grown ups were behind them. But since then we'be been told otherwise.
