Thrill level comparisons - 7DMT / Thunder Mountain / Barnstormer-Goofini Ride

Hi all,

How would you rate the following rides in terms of thrill level. 7 Dwarfs, Barnstormer & Thunder Mountain. My friend is going next week with her kids ages 8 & 5, they have been on Barnstormer & the kids liked it. This trip she was hoping to do 7Dwarfs & Thunder Mountain with the kids & was wondering how much more intense those are compared to Barnstormer.

Barnstormer, then Mine Train, then BTMRR
I think if they can do Barnstomer, then they will probably enjoy Mine Train.
BTMRR is a bit of a jump up from those two.

I haven't done Mine Train, but like pp most people seem to rate it between Barnstormer and BTMRR. BTMRR is a much more intense thrill ride than Barnstormer for sure. Barnstormer feels fast but it's quite short and relatively smooth.

We just got back a few weeks ago and rode all three of these with our 4 yr old. He liked BTMR and 7DMT the best of all the rides we went on. It was not too much for him, but then again we were at DL last when when he was three and went on RSR as well. He's not really afraid of rides at all. Maybe really dark ones like Dinosaur are not his fav. It really depends on the kid I think.

I'm not sure 7DMT even goes as fast as Barnstormer. Unlike Barnstormer which is fast most of the ride- 7DMT seems to intersperse slow and fast moments. DD (8) has always hated BTMRR and she loves 7DMT and Barnstormer.

My 3yo loves Barnstormer and SDMT but I wouldn't take him on BTMRR quite yet.
