Thrfty mid-size Presidents week is 108 for 5 days. With my Sams Club discount its 98.
Is this as good as it gets? Great price!
Is it just me or is every other company at least double that price?
Should I still be trying to do better and get one with a counter right at the aprt instead of a shuttle up the road?

Wow, that's a great price for such a busy week! If I were you, I'd book it but keep an eye on the other agencies as well. It's really not too much of a hassle catching the shuttle. It's a short ride away. Make sure you sign up for Thrifty Blue Chip and attach that to your reservation. It just makes things sooo much easier.

Last time we rented a car for Christmas week I got a price from Thrifty of $169 for a minivan. All of the other rental places were around $500! I was a little nervous about going off site but it worked out fine. My husband actually took the shuttle to get the car while the kids and I waited for our luggage. We only waited a few minutes for him to pick us up. For that price I wouldn't hesitate, go with Thrifty!
