It's not on mine either....Now you have me wondering...Could you let us know if you find out....Thanks....I am renting a mini van from them the second week in Dec...My cost was $316.00 including taxes...using that same code.

It used to be on that code but this year it was removed. When we went last Nov. the additional driver was included but when I made a reservation for a friend for Feb. this year they told him at the desk that the additional driver was no longer included in that code and they would have to pay extra so he didn't bother to pay the extra since it was iffy whether his wife would drive anyway.

Like the other poster said Thrifty did remove the free additional driver that used to be indicated when you booked using this code. I have used it in the past. If you book with Budget using BCD Number x474200 (travelocity public code) and free additional driver and E-Coupon MUWZ023 for $25.00 off the total for a minivan is $623.00. This rate includes the $25.00 coupon which is applied at checkout.

We've got a minivan from Oct 26 - Nov 16 through Budget on the carrentalsavers site for a base price of $225/wk.
For your dates the total price is $648.00 (including taxes) Budget lets your spouse/partner drive free and an additional driver is $11/day up to a maximum of $55. per rental per driver.

In this case, about $150 worth!

So, reading the teeny, tiny, fine print on our Thrifty ressie, sure enough, it says:
"additional drivers are charged $9.99 per day."

What initially concerned me was that on the top of our reservation, guaranteed unlimited miles was printed, but nothing about add'l driver.

Cancel Thrifty.

So, moseyed on over to the Budget and carrental sites, both quoting same $$...
$495 + taxes/fees = $648

Book Budget!!

Then, just for funzies, I wondered how much this rental *would* have cost if no one knew about discount codes, Mousesavers wasn't around, DISBoard DISers weren't so amazing and generous with information...

$1308 Base rate
taxes/fees
$1601.20


That's a difference of just under $1000.00

Good gravy, that's airfare for our next trip!
