I bought a nice vintage round mirror for my livingroom wall, it is BIG,like a 36" diameter-and I have been looking for a mirror for months to add some light to the room.... I paid 3.50! (now I just have to get to Home Depot to buy the stuff to hang it properly) I went to a few estate sales a couple of weeks ago, got some lovely vintage handmade linens for like .50-1.00 each (got a whole bunch)

We went to Hobby Lobby and they marked down some items to 80% off. We got a bench for $28, that was originally $148. I know they always have 50% off sales. My dh had to tighten up all the screws and put a few in. It had a few scrapes on it, but he sanded the scrapes and it looks vintage now.

What is with GoodWill stores. I spent over an hour last week and the smell was so bad, fans were blasting away. Some days I can find things, but this time, the clothes had stains on them. I thought they don't put out clothes with stains. I found a really pretty yellow shirt and when I went to check out, I saw the stain on the hem. I put it back.

A couple weeks ago I found an old (30s-40sish?) working accordion at an estate sale. Cool little thing to have and put on the shelf.
