We find Disney items at some great thrift stores here in NJ.

I find Disney items at mine almost every time. This week I got an autograph book from Disneyland Paris for 50 cents. It looks like brand new except for Mickey's autograph on the first page. I was so excited over that one, LOL. I also got 2 hoodies from WDW this trip. :thumbsup2

I seldom find anything good in the thrift stores at home, but we stopped in one in northern Michigan last month and found several boys' Disney t-shirts. They were on the small side for my son, so I didn't get them.

I always like to find local t-shirts when we travel. I was surprised to find one for Ripley's Aquarium (an hour from my house, but a long way from Michigan). Didn't really find anything interesting for local places.

Love thrift stores!

Before our last trip I was able to find:

Pirates T-shirt with a DisneyWorld tag
Dinosaur Ride zip up hoodie with a T-Rex and an "I survived" across the back
3 Park rain ponchos with Safari Mickey on them from AK
Light Chaser from the parks

All for $4

My kids thought they had won the lotto!

I came across a Disney Store Cinderella dress in awesome condition...no pulls or tears or stains...yesterday at a Goodwill for $3.50 Size 8/10

we go to thrift store all the time and I get some very good deals and neat

finds

I have a new with tags beach bag from the cruise that was $2

I also have tons of tee and sweatshirts

I also collect the resort refillable mugs

I almost have at least one from every resort

since my kids are both on their own I turned their rooms into my disney rooms

its almost like a museum!!!

thrift stores are fun--you never know what youre going to find

As far as Disney stuff goes, I have found 2 really nice ceramic coffee mugs, one All Star Sports (older but in great condidtion) refillable mug, a really nice Mickey frame, and a wonderful Mickey t-shirt that I love. I am about to make some else dreams come true (LOL) with a brand new beach cover up with a mouse ears logo on it. I ordered it from Disney online, and the embroidery was a little off, so I asked them to replace it. They did and they told me to donate the old one instead of sending it back..It will be at the Humane Society thrift shop in Savannah if anyone is interested!

I have had this happen to me before with disney shopping. If they make a mistake, and you ask them about sending it back, they will most likely tell you to keep it and give it to charity.

I've found several things at the local thrift stores here usually leave them there unless it's something I really want.

we were driving down to Disneyland and the kids really needed a pitstop, so we stopped in Norwalk, there was a salvation Army store right at the off ramp, so we checked it out...
We got DD a snow white dress for $3, but the best buy was DS a Jack Skellington hoodie for $4...Dh didn't want to get it, but when we got to Disneyland, every other person there was wearing one. DH felt so much better when we went into shop and saw the retail price!
