Thrift Store Finds

I just had to share my thrift store finds b/c everyone else in my family doesn't share the joy! lol

I am a Pre-K teacher who has Mickey Mouse as a theme so I am always looking for deals; well today I found
a medium sorcerer Mickey stuffed animal 1.95
a large eeyore stuffed animal 1.95
a large Little John (Robin Hood) stuffed animal 1.95
2 pink youth Mickey ears .75 each
a typhoon lagoon glass .45
a large Mickey and Minnie poster 1.95


I also found a good deal for my kids
a large train table (for their Thomas the tank engine) 9.95 in great condition


My family doesn't understand the great bargains and I knew Budget Board would!

Way to go!
I love searching for "treasures" in the thrift stores. I recently found a NEW Steamboat mickey photo frame with the $34.95 price tag still on it for $4.
During the same trip I found the PERFECT cabinet for our new big screen TV (family christmas present). It looked pretty rough but I brought it home, DH sanded it down and I painted it to match our other family room furniture (satin black). It looks gorgeous, offers a ton of storage and no one would believe I only paid $15 for it! Talk about budget friendly! LOL

NICE! i LOVE going to thrift stores! i got DD a brand-new eddie bauer winter coat, a good, thick one, for $3.00! also a pair of calvin klein jeans for $2.00 and my favorites, a pair of american eagle stretch jeans for $2.00-i've almost worn these out, lol.

I am going to put more effort into thrift stor-ing for presents next year.

For DD I found a Disneyland Snow White plush doll that was just adorable but dusty. Popped her in the wash and for 75 cents, I have a super cute little doll that looks brand new and was probably $15 originally. I also found a 5 year old Minnie mouse ornament still sealed in the box for $1.50. She'll get a kick out of putting that on the tree.

For my Mom, I found a lighthouse framed print for under $2.

I wish I had started searching for quality used things earlier, I just found a great store last week. I went over big time budget wise this year, next year will be different!
