This report was mostly written for me and my family! It has a lot of detail, (ie: it's long!!) so I will remember what we did during our Magical trip!
Sunday, March 21
Rise and shine, its Early Morning Hour at Magic Kingdom today! The park opens at 8:00, and we want to be on the first bus! We are at the bus stop by 7:00, and at the Magic Kingdom turnstiles by 7:30!! We head to the left side of the front of the park, and walk right up to an empty turnstile! Why are all of those other people waiting in a long line on the right side of the park?? We all have on matching shirts Disney Fun Seekers and the kids have on their pin trading lanyards and Disney hats! The kids start talking with a CM, and next thing we know Trevor and Tori are asked to open the park! Can this be true?? We have opened up MK now all three trips (FantasyLand in 1999, Tomorrowland in 2001, and now!)!! We must be incredibly lucky! The pixie dust is working overtime for us now! We all count down from 10, and Trevor and Tori toss Pixie Dust in the air to start another magical day at Magic Kingdom!! We head straight for Space Mountain! I get a FastPass while the others jump in line. I catch up to them, and we ride Space! Wow what a rush! This is a great ride! We walk over to Buzz Lightyear. Even after I tell the kids a scoring secret (keep the trigger pressed all the time!), I still outscore everyone! On to FantasyLand! This place is as magical as I remember it! We ride Pooh Trevor loves Tigger!! Then we ride Snow Whites Scary Adventures. We start into Philharmagic, but there is a problem with the movie. We could wait ..no, lets move on! We ride Peter Pan . I love this ride (Tink is my favorite character)! Were pretty close to Frontierland lets jump over there! We get a FastPass for Splash Mountain, and wait in the 15-minute line for Big Thunder Mountain! Hmmm, what now? Our FastPass for Space is due, but do we want to walk back over there? I really think they will let us use it even if were late! I seem to remember reading that the Haunted Mansion FastPass system is on another system. Lets try to get a FastPass for there! Hey, it works!! We now have FastPass for Space Mtn., Splash Mtn. And Haunted Mansion! In just a few minutes we could also get a FastPass for Philharmagic! Tim, Mom, Trevor & Tori head over to the Teacups to ride, while Skylar and I wait to get a FastPass at Philharmagic! Were starting to get a little hungry now, so we pop into Columbia House for some fish & chicken strips! Mmmmm just what we needed! Lets let lunch settle while we watch Philharmagic our FastPasss are now ready! What a great show! This is definitely one of my favorite 3-D shows! Its great to hear the Disney songs, and see so many different characters in one show! Next stop Haunted Mansion, using our FastPass! This is a great ride, and we spot the hidden Mickey in the dishes, and pick up a hitchhiker on our way out! Dont forget to look for the wedding ring on our way out! Were off to Splash Mountain now again, using Fast Pass!! This is great! They dont even question the timing of the FastPass as long as it is after the time that it can begin!
I had really decided that we could skip the parade, but as we come off of Splash, the parade is getting ready to start in Frontierland. Is that an empty spot right on the curb?? With no one sitting there?? You guys sit here, and Ill go get ice cream!! More Mickey ice cream bars and here comes the parade!! I cant believe we walked up minutes before the parade was starting and got a spot on the curb!! Did I mention that our Pixie Dust was working overtime today?! The parade was good, (but I still like Remember the Magic parade better!). We hop on the train and ride to ToonTown! This sure beats walking all the way back through the park, and following the parade! We go to see Mickey, Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Toris favorite Minnie! Tori found a beautiful Minnie dress that she just had to have!! OK, what the heck, shes only going to be little for a short time! She feels beautiful in it!! She is skipping and twirling, and catching everyones eye! A quick walk on a hidden path takes us right to Tomorrowland, where we use our FastPass for Space Mountain! (Remember the one that we got at 8:00??) Lets grab another FastPass while were here! We decide that its been a full day, and we could use a rest! We head back to Pop for a quick rest from 5:30-7:00. After catching our breath, and putting our feet up, we jump on a bus back to MK. SpectroMagic begins at 8:00, so we grab a place on the balcony of the train station, and wait for the parade! It is beautiful and the train station is a great place to watch the parade! We walk down Main Street, grab some hot dogs at Caseys (mmm good!), and wait for Wishes to begin at 9:00! We walk into the road (its like someone saved a spot for us!) and watch the most amazing show I have ever seen! The music, the fireworks, the characters speaking this is incredible!! We watch Tinkerbell fly (did I mention that shes my favorite!), and I definitely have tears in my eyes! (In fact I have tears in my eyes just writing about it!) After Wishes, we head over to Tomorrowland. Remember the FastPass we picked up before we left? Lets ride Space Mountain again!! We decide to leave to avoid the 10:00 closing rush to the bus stop! Back to Pop the kids play in the arcade for a while, while I dream about our wonderful day, and plan for tomorrow! We were originally going to head to Blizzard Beach on Monday, but were thinking maybe we should save the water park for later in the week. How about Animal Kingdom? Theres a couple things that we didnt hit on Saturday sounds like a fun ½ day before our originally scheduled evening at Downtown Disney and DisneyQuest!
