Three tickets on my phone (Disney App), no Magic Band. How are the tickets read/scanned?

You can get physical tickets at the ticket office, if you wish. If you would rather use your iphone, here are the instructions on how to load them into your Apple Wallet. I don't think this works on other devices.

There is a Genie+ thread at the top of the forum for answers on Genie+.

Apple pay and Google pay work basically the same to add your passes to your phone you don't need an iPhone any phone will work.

Once you get the hang of swiping thru the passes on your phone you won't be holding up the line.

Dont be that person holding up the entry while you scramble to bring up each digital ticket to scan. Get cards, everyone, including those stuck behind you at the tap style, will be thankful you did.
Can I get them at the hotel at check-in?

Last week I saw some families using a phone for LL entry.....it looked frustrating and inefficient to me. Apparently you have to swipe to each person's LL and tap for each one. If not using magic bands, I would definitely get cards as PPs suggested.
ETA if everyone in the group has their own MDE on their own phone it's a different scenario.

I guess i'll try to see if there is a video online demonstrating the process.

You either have to swipe each magicband, or card or mobile wallet card. No matter which method you choose, everybody has to swipe.

There are plenty of instances where magicband users also hold up the queue, as well. The problem isn't the medium, it is the on-site technology.

At least if they are all in the phone, everyone can have access to everyone's tickets and just scan and swipe through them efficiently. That being said, I use magicbands; I like that medium the most.

No, everyone has to tap. When I say swipe, I do not mean tap. I saw the lead in some parties at the LL tapstile having to look at their phone, swipe to the next rider and then tap...for each person in their party. The few times I saw people doing it, it was definitely slower than everyone being able to just walk up to the tapstile, tap (their own phone, a magic band or a card) and go.
