Weather App - My preference is Wunderground. It's not as prevalent these days, but it used to be able to pick up personal weather stations, so you could get neighborhood temps and not just the bigger stations. Still, I like its radar options and find it pinpoints specific parts of towns a lot better than the others, especially with special weather statements and warnings.
Apple Maps - Google Maps tends to overestimate the time for me and sometimes sends me on longer routes than necessary, as if it's misreading the traffic conditions. Waze has put me in some awful situations, to the point that I simply cannot rely on it to understand logic and safety with local driving conditions and road configurations.
Apple Music/iTunes/
Amazon Music - I have an extensive music library that's a blend of purchases directly from Apple or Amazon as well as things I owned on CD that I uploaded to iTunes. Amazon also recognizes old CD purchases and will load the songs from those CDs to your Amazon Music account in most cases. I rely heavily on music to get me through my walks, workouts, and the day in general.
* I was originally going to say the Kroger app, but it's been glitchy of late for pickup shopping, a lot of things that can be purchased in store cannot be added to your cart for a pickup order, and if it were really smart...there would be no need to clip digital coupons. As much as I prefer digital coupons to paper, in an ideal world, you should be able to scan the barcode for your Kroger discount card and the system automatically knows what in your order has an applicable coupon. It'll do this with an online order but I feel like in-store should also receive this kind of intuitive coupon linking.
