Good Tuesday Morning

#1 - Barney the Dinosaur - Poor Barney has a lot of haters, but my DD26 loved him and I loved him because she loved him. We watched and listened to so much Barney and I can still sing many of his songs. She also loved me reading Barney books to her - many of them I saved. Good memories

#2 - Purple Irises - My neighbor has many in her front landscaping and I love looking at them this time of year.

#3 - Planet Fitness Purple Pens - I use them at work all the time

My purple sweater - I got this purple sweater over 30 years ago I got a really good deal on it I paid $2.99 for it - it has seen better days but I still wear it i won’t wear out in public anymore because it is not wear out in public sweater anymore but is such a nice warm sweater I have repaired the same more times than I care to mention but I just won’t get rid of it because it is just such a nice comfortable sweater I absolutely love it my family absolutely hated it because it’s just so old but I still love it

I seriously have a lot of purple clothes because it’s one of my favorite colors I have two purple sweatshirts I absolutely love them it’s hard to find clothes and purple so when I do I usually buy them

My dining room - it’s painted a shade of purple I get so many compliments on the color of my dining room it’s a grayish purple and it’s just really a nice shade I’m so happy I found that color because it’s not too much purple and it looks really nice

My purple nail Polish it is like the perfect shape of purple not too light but not too dark it’s hard to find a good shade of purple and nail polish and this one hits the mark

1. My new pyjamas - I've just bought a purple set of pyjamas that have Jaq and Gus Gus on them, who have a very special place in my heart after I had a couple of pets named after them (pic below).



2. Lilac - I adore the colour lilac in general, its one of my favourite colours and am just grateful for it's general existence and any items that come in that colour.

3. Chocolate - a large number of chocolate brands come wrapped in purple - Cadburys, Quality Street, Milka - and as a chocoholic, I couldn't live without them. If I had to narrow it down to a specific bar/flavour, Cadburys Marvellous Creations or Orange Buttons take my vote any day of the week.

Dear PollyannaMom, thank you my friend for some early Tuesday purple cheer.

Dear Clappyclaps, your pajamas are adorable. May they keep you cozy.

Dad has a purple comforter that I got him a few years ago that in cooler weather, I pray helps him have sweet dreamscand be warm. We both have purple t shirts. Dear WDWEPCOT, may your purple sweatshirts keep you nice and warm.

Dear Slo, I have a bright lilacy color papermate flair pen that I really like. Writing in colored ink is fun

I just used my purple hairbrush to brush my hair.

I'm not a big grape fan but it was a blessing pre pandemic and God willing one day this year to participate in Holy Communion at church. Non alcoholic purple grape juice was the wine.

Blackberries - technically, they are a very dark purple and make things purple when you break them down into other food dishes.

Planet Fitness - Purple is a big part of their color scheme. I know there are mixed feelings out there on them as far as gyms go, but I much rather pay their prices that the hundreds per month the rest of the gyms in our area charge...in addition to the whole no contracts things.

Pants - I recently bought a pair of purple compression exercise pants. I was a bit iffy on the color but they actually match a tank top I've owned for several years that never quite went with anything.

In Oregon they are invasive plants that grow along fence lines...and I loved harvesting the fruit and in December they are at our Kroger store for 99 cents... Mexico grown

Salem Oregon has a irises festival and a large farm can be seen from the freeway and when blooming one of the highlights of Coast starlight Amtrak ... Very tolerant plants of drought and freezing

On my Oregon estate 20 years ago I had a hedge of liliac trees...bloomed tax day April...fill the house with purple blooms, close the house and come home to a wonder fragrance

I purchase. This year's crops have been super sweet too. I enjoy them as a healthy sweet treat that's also good for dietary fiber. They also pair nicely with the diet chocolate I like to buy.

Lupine is amazing plant in the West it grows in the sandy/tiny gravel exposed areas... bottom of the volcanoes falling apart...arid Central North West deserts .and even found some in the northern desert of Arizona.... though they were very small.. coffee mug size while the Central Oregon lupine was the size of Iris plants

My purple "York Beach Beer Co." hoodie. I spent pretty much every summer of my life in York Beach until I was in my mid-20s. My mom and siblings actually moved there, and my sister and brother (and their adult kids) still live there. I have great memories, and we try to vacation there for a week every summer. DD's husband, my SIL plays/sings at YBBCo every summer; we make it into a fun family weekend. I LOVE the color purple, and this hoodie is just the perfect shade.

My "Bad Girls" tee shirt. It features all the female Disney villains, is dark purple, and parts of it glow in the dark. We bought these in either purple or pink for my sister, niece, DD, and myself, 20+ years ago (and DH and my BIL had black shirts with "bad boys" on them).

PF is my gym and I think it’s great. I agree that some people look at it like the ghetto of gyms, but I don’t care - the price is right, it’s clean, the equipment is kept up well and the people there are very nice. I look forward to my gym mornings

Summer is my favorite season

#1 - Floating In My Pool - My favorite summer activity

#2 - Watching TV Outside - I love watching TV outside, especially at night. It’s so relaxing to sit out there in the fresh air

#3 - Farmer’s Markets - Going to these are a lot of fun. Our area has several of them

FLiP FLOPS OMG it’s my favorite footwear I was so sad this week my most awesome favorite pair of flip-flops ever got broke I’m going to try and repair them wish me luck I’ve had these for 10 years and they are my most favorite pair ever ever ever a flip-flops I wish I could find a pair of like them again
I literally wear a flip-flops until it starts snowing I’ve been known to wear them in the winter sadly that’s how I broke my tailbone because I wore them to take the dog outside and did not know there was ice on the deck but I found out real quick sadly I found out by slipping and falling and breaking my tailbone you would’ve thought that would’ve taught me not to do that anymore but it did not because I hate to wear shoes so most of the time I’m barefoot or I’m wearing flip-flops
Flip-flops to me do you mean the start of summer because when I was a kid we always got a new pair at the start of summer

Swimsuit - you always got a new swimsuit every year to start a summer these days you gotta start looking at winter because that’s when they come out which I find kind of sad nobody wants to be looking at a swimsuit when it’s cold and if you wait till summer they’re sold out of swimsuit

Beach towels - another item that you get a new one every summer - it used to be a thing that every time we went to Disney we would buy a new beach towel one of the reasons why I’ve got so many beach towels

A summer purse - you always had to get your new summer purse or your swim bag some cute little tote bag for summer to take to the pool
