Good Thursday Morning Friends!

I think everyone is grateful for green money - regardless if it’s a lot or a little.

#1 - I’m grateful for green plant life - I hate how everything looks here in the winter - drab & dead looking. When everything is green it makes me feel better. I especially realize this when we leave here in the winter and go to Florida, where everything is green - it’s like a breath of fresh air

#2 - I’m grateful for my green eyes - they go great with my red hair

#3 - I’m grateful for green avocados - I have 2 sitting on my counter that’s going to turn into green guacamole today to have with the enchiladas that I’m making with green verde salsa

Green Things:

1. Oldest DD inherited my mother’s green eyes. My mom’s eyes were beautiful.
2. Basil: I love basil and it is doing really well in my garden right now.
3. Cilantro: it’s my other favorite her. Although it’s not doing as well as the Basil.

Hooray for Green! Green has always been a favorite color along with pink.

I'm thankful for Green grass - DH is the turf department manager at the company we work for, so it's his job, but he has made me appreciate the beauty of green grass!

I'm thankful for the green growing crops this time of year. Soon they will be turning, but I love driving by the pretty corn and bean fields on my way to and from work.

I'm thankful for green grapes - one of my favorite fruits!

I have some beautiful green earrings. They aren't jade, can't remember which stone they are, but my sister gave them to me and I love them!

Herbs... mint, basil, cilantro, rosemary, etc., etc., etc.

Pistachio ice cream!!

Green vegetables...as someone notoriously low in iron and vitamin D-they literally keep me going

1. Harry Potter (joining the club)
2. Janner Igby from The Wingfeather Saga by Andrew Peterson... SUCH an amazing children's/young adult fantasy series. It's written by one of my favorite singer/songwriters (he's just multi-talented)
3. Aslan from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
(Note: All three of these come with an et.al., but I didn't want to break the rules TOO badly. )

(Tues, 8/8) - Three things you're grateful for that you can buy with a dollar
1. Taco seasoning
2. Some songs on iTunes are still $0.99
3. Stickers?? lol I'm sure you can find a sheet of stickers for a dollar or less.

3 bookstores, libraries, or people you connect with reading (book lovers themselves, recommended great books to you, etc.) that you're grateful for
1. I love my local library!
2. I have a friend who's a school librarian, and I love all her book suggestions she posts online
3. The Urbana/InterVarsity Press bookstore at the conference I attend every few years. It's amazing.

Good Morning!

#1 - My DD19’s HS colors were blue and white, so I’m grateful for all my blue softball shirts from her 4 years of varsity days - lots of great memories with those shirts

#2. I’m grateful that blue reminds me of my mom - it’s her favorite color, so blue will forever make me think of my mom.

#3 - I’m grateful for my favorite blue pool float - I hope to be spending some time on it Sunday.

Blue is the color of our local high school - it's officially columbia blue - which I love!

I love the blue ocean and sky!

The blue T-shirt I'm wearing. - It has a quote on it and starts pleasant conversations when waiting in lines, etc.

Blueberries - I like eating them, they are approved on DH's diet, and I have fun memories of taking DS and my nieces blueberry picking when they were little.

Autumn days when the sky is just that perfect shade of blue.

1. Blueberries—I love berries and melons and blueberries are one of my favorite berries.
2. My first car was a little blue Honda Civic. It was pretty.
3. Blue water at the beach/pool.
