Three Things...Gratitude Thread

Good Morning 🌼 to each of you

As always, I love so many of the beach-y and other answers already shared such as sharing, showers, and one day I pray being able to safely help my Dad with shopping. Meantime how blessed we are that he can get needed shopping done in store while I can help from home online.

1 Good Shepherd, Jesus.
2 Sheep, yes for Spring but also because "Lammie" was one of Champ's nicknames.
3 Jersey Sheets

Wow cable in the 70s that would have been Amazing ! They didn’t start installing in my area until mid 80s and I didn’t get it until 90s when I finally lived somewhere that received it ! Honestly you would have thought I lived out in the sticks - I don’t but the reception is horrible for some reason 🤷‍♀️ still now 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ I live in subdivisions - we have all the big stores - right outside of major city - you have to go for miles and miles to get to the country !
We were fortunate enough to be in an area where cable became available in 1977. When we moved to Florida in 1981, there was cable tv available in the area already and we subscribed. As soon as satellite tv became available, we switched to that. I have come full circle, as I am back to an antenna and OTA broadcasts.

Three SH things . . .

Shade, for staying cool in the Florida heat
Shuteye, it feels so good to sleep in like I did today
Shampoo, I love my coconut scented shampoo and conditioner that make my hair look and smell great

80s! - You guys are bringing up such good memories! I graduated in '89

I'd have to say I'm grateful for:

1. The clothes from the 80s - we wore pegged jeans, nice sweaters, etc.
2. The music - so much of it is still popular today even
3. The house I was in. We moved in from the country when I was in middle school. We lived right in the middle of town and I loved it!

Oh, the 80’s . . .

Epcot, the golden years! There was nothing like Epcot during its first decade.
Yes, I didn't get a chance to visit Epcot until 1990, but the Epcot of those earlier years is my all time favorite theme park. I loved how it was so educational and fun all at once. Very inspiring! Loved the Future World ride theme songs of that era.

I still have that first Epcot album, in vinyl, and now that I have a turntable again, I can listen to it once more. Magic from the 80’s!

First I want to share that I’m grateful to have made an ADR for the RRBBQ this morning :cheer2:.
Now my stress level can be knocked down a few notches - LOL!

The 80s were the best!

#1 - I’m grateful to have met my DH in the 80s - we started dating at 16yrs old and 35 years later we are still together.

#2 - I’m grateful for the local roller rink in the 80s - we spent ALOT of time there - great memories.

#3 - I’m grateful for all the great music from the 80s - I had it on records, cassette tapes and then CDs.
