Three Things...Gratitude Thread

1. Aloe: I have several plants and use it for little burns and scrapes. I find it really helps with discomfort and healing.
2. Airplanes: I like flying less than I used to, but still like that it’s available to me and opens up the world.
3. Apples: it’s apple season here and I enjoy trying all the different varieties. I think ambrosia are my current favorites. My family like gala too and also honeycrisp.

1. A Positive Attitude - I try to have one because it makes the day so much better!

2. Apples - I have one every day for lunch. I need to be try different varieties sometimes - I tend to stick with what I know I like.

3. New Adventures - I'm not the best at seeking out new things to do, but I love it when something fresh pops up to do!

I'm very annoyed with Microsoft and with society, generally, at the moment!!!!!

I'll come back later... 🤣

Agatha Christie Day! :thumbsup2

American friends

Amazon ...Its monopoly does concern me, but, at the same time, I have found some fantastic gifts for people on there; things I wouldn't have found without their suggestions.

ABBA music! ... It was always a favorite, to play at college, when getting ready to go out. I still find it energizing.

The place where I grew up starts with an A. It was a great place for a pretty free child/teenhood

Aloe and airplanes! Brilliant! (And that reminds me, I need to re-pot my aloe plants.)

Happy Saturday

I have a lot of those by me, but I’m not sure if I’m grateful for them.

Quick answers today - I gotta get ready for work….

#1 - Our local deer that come to visit us

#2 - Our resident squirrels in our yard - they’re fun to watch this time of year

#3 - Elephants - I love seeing them in zoos or watching documentaries about them

"A" things...

>>Angela, who has become my best friend over the years (who I met here- I've mentioned this before!)
>>Airplanes- I LOVE to travel!
>>After-school care programs. There was no aftercare this week and juggling the 7yo's care with all 4 adults in the family working full-time was a huge challenge!

"Wild Animals"
>>Kind of a cop-out but all the animals on Disney's safari ride. I LOVE the Safari!
>>The groudhog/woodchuck that lives under my shed. Not sure what he really is, but he is a roly-poly little guy who keeps the dandilions in the yard eaten, so the yard looks under control. He really is funny to watch!
>>Wild turkeys. I love to watch them roam around with the Tom all puffed up with his tail feathers in full bloom! We have a lot of turkeys and one of the "funnest" things to see is when maybe 3 adults will usher about 20 babies across the street: One adult with the babies waiting to cross, one or 2 in the street keeping everyone in line, and one on the far side of the street to make sure they get into the brush. So cute!

Of course my pesky deer see him every day I had more last year but I got several this year they’re so adorable especially the babies
I’ve got all manner of wildlife in my yard from coyotes to possums skunks squirrels adorable rabbits you name it I’ve got it I’m still waiting to see a bear their close but I haven’t seen one of my yard yet they are my most favorite animals next to horses
I will say I enjoy watching the rabbits play nightly in the yard they’re so cute chasing each other
Baby skunks are cute I just don’t want to run into them
I’ve seen a bobcat cruising the dumpsters don’t wanna run into him either
We have a huge go for my neighbors yard he’s a size of a small dog hope he stays in my neighbors yard nothing personal to my neighbor I just don’t want him in my yard

Wild Animals:
1. We do have tons of deer around here. I like watching the mamas with their babies in the spring/summer. We had little twins this year. We just noticed yesterday that they’ve lost their spots.
2. Squirrels: lots of these as well. They are cute to watch them running around.
3. Bunnies: we actually don’t have many bunnies which makes me excited to see them when there is one. Middle DD had one she called her “bunny friend” when she was little. She was always looking out for him.
