thanks for visiting. It has taken some time but I'm loving reliving it. I love the posts with pictures too - I was addicted to the photo posts before I left. Now I'm holding out on posting some of mine over there so I can make the magic last longer.

Part V - We only have 14 hours; let’s go!

Of course, we were not out the door on time,
(couldn’t have been because the bathtub wouldn’t drain or cuz BS couldn’t find her sunglasses and forgot the snacks that she was in charge of and had to take the four flights of stairs two times since the elevator was too slow…)

but the delay could have been because I wowed them with a present from Mickey to welcome them to his world….

(this is actually what the lanyards looked like at the end of the day!

Oh this is great. There's a pin on your lanyard that I got my last trip & can't find it on PinPics. It's on the very left lanyard, 4th pin from the top. It's Mickey wearing a fancy colored shirt with his right hand in the air & his left hand with some sort of color wheel. Does anyone know which pin this is?

Epcot Matt? Glad you stopped by, but I'm sorry I don't have much info. The seller from ebay listed this as Mickey with a hacky sack. would never have known what that was if he didn't name it.

I searched on pinpics for "Mickey ball" and didn't find anything on the six pages of results....hacky and hackey sack turned up nothing...

When I visited with the whole family back in ’04, DH and I surveyed CM’s to figure out what our future retirement plans would be. DH is going to be a Monorail driver and I’m going to be a greeter like my buddy Stan here….

He started our first day, first visit to MGM with a flair. He traded DH her first pin and shared how he spent half the year in France growing grapes and making wine and the other half of the year greeting folks at the gate at MGM. This is why you talk to the CM's

So, is this you with Stan??? Hey, you did say you were much younger than your sisters. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to ask!!

I am still loving your report!! I wish mine was as creative as your's. I am absolutely horrible at getting things across in writing. In my head, I know exactly how I want it, but when it comes to writing it down, well......it just doesn't work out the way I would like.

As my dh says, they are imaginary friends (we are that is...to you). So HI imaginary friend!

My dh also thinks it is so cute that I relive my vacations by reading others trip reports. He esp. loves it when he hears me cracking up, spewing out my adult bevies all over the computer. We only understand...they may never...

Get to packing lady! You are welcome to bring with you any amount of snow that I have in my driveway. Please take it! (we are in a blizzard...)

mvazul - Yes, Stan's been working with the Mouse since '75 when I was a mere 9 yo. It's amazing how much I look like my DH at that age

Just start writing! I did most of it on the trip since I traveled by myself the airport/plane time was a great chance to get it started. I challenged myself to try to write like I'm trying to get my DH to do

princessjv - I think our slopes got snow last night so we should have enuf but thanks for your generous offer! I woke up at 2:30 am and couldn't go back to sleep. Was afraid someone had taken the cartop carrier off the van with all our skis/boards in it!

Thanks for checking on me. A week in the mountains with the family was a great way to get over missing Disney. We got back late last night (actually early this am, even earlier with the time change

I'm trying to come up for air under the pile of emails (200+ - what happened to not getting an email from the disboards until I visited again?) and laundry. Will post the next installment tonight.
