1) Where is VIP seating for EPCOT's Illuminations? :confused3

2) What EPCOT country is the Boardwalk near? :confused3

3) Is the Flying Fish Restaurant at EPCOT's Boardwalk any good? :confused3 (I will also check the Restaurant Board).

Thanks! :flower:

1. VIP seating for Illuminations: The location is near the Odyssey Restaurant (just past Test Track heading toward the World Showcase). The only way to get the VIP seating for Illuminations is to book a Grand Gathering. You need a group of 8 or more and the price is $59.99 per adult and junior and $19.99 per child ages 3-9. You also need park admission.

2. The entrance between England and France is where the walkway or boat ride to the Boardwalk Resort is located. Boardwalk is a bit of a distance...it's not right outside Epcot's gates.

3. The Flying Fish is located on the boardwalk near the Boardwalk Inn and Villas (DVC resort). It is not part of Epcot.

FYI...Boardwalk is considered an Epcot resort due to its proximity to Epcot. The Dolphin, Swan, and Beach Club are also Epcot resorts. It's kind of like the Contemporary, Polynesian, and Grand Floridian being considered Magic Kingdom resorts.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much!

I had sooo many frustrations regarding Disney Travel that they gave my guest and I VIP seating at Illuminations! :Pinkbounc

Now, I have PS Reservations at the Flying Fish at 6:30pm. Illuminations starts at 9:00, and I would guess we would need to be at the VIP seating section by around 8:30 pm. :confused3

Will this give us enough time to eat and get back for Illuminations? I would think this should, especially if we take about 1 1/2 hours to eat (putting us at 8:00 pm, with 30 minutes to travel back for Illuminations.

Does this plan sound correct? :confused3

I think you'll have enough time. You might want to show up to Flying Fish a little early, say 15-30 min, so they take you earlier. This would mean more time on the other end to get to the VIP section. Depending on the boat launch (like if you just miss the boat), you may want to just walk over to Epcot. It would be faster than waiting for another boat. When you go through the turnstiles coming back into the World Showcase, go left, past Canada and head towards the Odyssey Restaurant. The Odyssey is no longer open to guests, but they still hold CM meetings there.

Enjoy an unobstructed view of Illuminations and the desserts!!! Have a magical trip!!! :wizard:
