Three Princesses and a June Trip to Disney World with pics, Final Update Aug 11th

Great update! Sounds like you had a nice day at Epcot, other than not being able to find the card! I have to agree about Soarin'...it is one of the best Disney attractions ever!!!! You know it's good when even my mom loves it, and she is not a thrill ride person at ALL.

They replace them at Guest Services in the parks. When my daughter lost hers we were staying at the Beach Club and entered through the International Gateway. They looked at the backs of ours and figured out which # was out of order and replaced it. They did say that if we found the other one that it wouldn't work because it's somehow taken out of the system. Great trip report!

Very good idea but it wouldn't work for us as we didn't have enough clothes for the entire week. I did...:laundy:
I am very fortunate that two friends of mine have older girls and they give me bags of clothes a few times of year! Between that and a little shopping the girls have lots of things to wear. I myself had three pairs of shorts last year. Let me just tell you I was sick of doing laundry for myself every few days so when the longer style shorts came out and JC Penney had a sale, I bought like 6 or 7 pairs and lots of tops too. They all have that stretchyness to them and I am really happy this summer to have something to wear.:thumbsup2

This worked good because your middle daughter looks very young! :thumbsup2
Yuppers...they do look like twins since the little one is bigger and the big one is small :upsidedow
You can get a new one...it's just a hassle.
yeah...hassle...no good :sad2:
I know! I hate seagulls at the beach and hate the people that feed them!
agreed 100%
I can't wait for the star of the show....:rolleyes1
Yaaaa the Dis meet and more of the same pics :rotfl2:
I'm glad to know what you guys thought of Test track. My kids didn't want to go on it, because it looked scary/fast. But I'll just tell them it's like our go-kart, but much better.
As always, I'm enjoying your TR. :thumbsup2
Oh yes, TT is definately not scary! I mean you only go 67 mph... its just windy and thats only for a minute at the end. The kids will love it!
Great thinking Cathy! I would have done the same thing if I were in your shoes, regarding the lost KTTW card. ::yes::
I left Maddie's KTTW card back in the room last year. I had to jump off the bus hoof it back to the room and taxi over to MGM to meet up with the rest of the group. Not fun! :rolleyes1
Looking forward to your big night! :cool1:

I can't believe it's almost over!! :sad2:
Thanks...I would have been so upset if we didnt get in or rather my DH would have been really mad  at me for losing the stupid card anyways. Honestly I have no idea where the thing vanished to...thin air??? :rolleyes1 I mean it should have been right on the table where I dumped all of the stuff from the pool.:confused3 A lot of people leave their cards in the room or in another bag but how many people's cards just vanish? Oh well. Was the taxi ride fun?? I love a fast ride...it was better than TT :rotfl2:
I really really really enjoyed reading your TR! It sounds like you had a great time.
Hi Princess Dot! :cheer2: Thanks so much for reading and jumping aboard...we are almost done! ;) Enjoy!

Ahhh Soarin was so amazing! Thats so funny about your mom! Well Disney is good about that because they have a great mix of rides...thrill and calm! :thumbsup2
great quick thinking. The two youngest look like twins so why not.
Agreed....fortunately it worked!
Love the update!! quick thinking!!! Great job!!!
Thanks Tanya!
Great chapter! I'm sorry it's coming to an end. How come you didn't ride Mission Space?

Denise
I get dissy on the Carosuel so there was no way I could do MS. Even the non-spinning side would freak me out I think. ;) Have you tried it?

So they did replace it at the ticket counter? Well that is good to know for next time. Thanks Kathy with a K! :goodvibes
Am I missing the scrapbook party? :confused3 Donde esta?

Oh good more scrapbookers! Join the party! :yay:

You know how the curtains have the light blocking shade….we don’t have that at home. It made for great naps in the afternoon but getting up in the morning was another story.
::yes:: I have to battle with mo mother each trip as I like to leave the curtains cracked for some light in the AM and she's afraid strangers are spending their WDW time peering in our window while we sleep.

We gather our things and head over to the gates. We snap a few pics and I get out our cards…Dh had his and I had one for me, for Cindy and….uhhh where is Liz’s??:confused3
UH-OH...
I put both kids in the double stroller and gave Cindy’s card to Liz and I had mine and DH had his and we prayed. I smiled sweetly and acted cool as a cucumber :rolleyes1 except I was freaking out on the inside. The CM didn’t blink an eyelash and we were in like flynn. Yahoottyyy!!! :cool1:
Brilliant! :thumbsup2

Up Next...our big night...our last night!princess:
The "last night" ALREADY??? :sad1:

Momma's think quickly! That is our job! You did great and get a :) for the day!

And score! You got super great seats. I just may have set my bum on those sames seats once in a day ;)

Can't wait for BBB homemade style! Your girls are the cutest and it will be so fun to see the 2 princesses all dressed for the evening!

Yep, back in 2004. They only had the "original" back then, and I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I, too, get sick on the carousel and teacups! But for some reason, maybe because you don't "see" yourself spinning, it was great! I am looking forward to doing it again!!!

I just joined the DIS!!!:cheer2: Now you may think..so? Well, I've been reading theses boards since 2000...they must have been fairly new then because there were less than a thousand posts when I heard about the site and decided to check it out. Four Disney trips and 1 Disney cruise later, I finally join. I love the DIS and have learned so much, but just never joined(no excuse other than I didn't investigate how...very lame...I'm also shy) ,but I'm here now!!! Actually, it's thanks to Cathy(twob4him). She is a longtime(since childhood) friend!!!!And we are always sharing Disney stories so today she said "Come on...you're joining!!!! And she got me started...I may not forgive her if I get addicted:rotfl: More to come later...

Well, welcome! Nice to "meet" you! :wave2: I'm fairly new, I guess. We haven't been to Disney in 11 years, so now that we're finally planning a trip, I'm obsessed with planning! :coffee:

I enjoy the planning aspect of it too ..Homeschoolmomma. How old are your children and how many do you have???Our first trip was when my girls were almost 4 and just turned 6 and it was truly "magical". January is a great time to go. we went this past Jan. and had very low crowds...the girls rode Thunder Mt 3 times in a row with no wait and were able to pick any seat they wanted...first they rode in the front then the back then the middle. We had the opportunity to attend the Princess/ Pirate party too.pirate:

I wanna see your pages:cheer2:

I saw the scrapbook today...it was a tougher workout than the gym just to lift the thing!!! Seriously, it was the fattest scrapbook I have ever seen, but it is TOO CUTE!!! Not only can the girl sew, she is a scrapbook pro!!! You have seen from the report how cute the "Three Princesses" are..well, they are precious...the sweetest little girls. I know they will look back on the scrapbook for years to come and remember their trip fondly. Their Mommy is the best!

My girls are 6 & 10, and my son will be 5 when we go in Jan. I think it will definantly be magical. I've worked very hard to make some cute outfits, get ADRs at character places, and have a girls' morning planned that includes BBB and Cindy's Castle for breakfast. I just bought cute material to make some special for my 6yr old. I feel like my 10 yr old is missing out the fun clothes since she's more HSM or Hannah than princesses now... DS doesn't care if I make anything-as long as he has Cars stuff to wear.

I'm hoping for good park days. There's all this talk about the week I'm going still being in the "holiday" time in 2008, b/c New Year's Falls on Tuesday. Last year it fell on Monday and it was still a value season. So, I going to hope everyone goes home before we come! :thumbsup2

V - I lived with my mom before I got remarried... so I truly know what you mean :rolleyes1
Can you believe we are at the end of the trip practically?

Yes BTTT, can I call you that?, I feel the same about you ;)

Wow Denise I am so impressed that you "survived" the ride and are willing to try it again...go for it!!! :thumbsup2
Oh no you did NOT just say "TT is definately not scary!" I know, I'm such a stinker. I just couldn't help myself!
You mean that was supposed to be a scary ride?? Opss I missed that memo :rotfl2: EE now that is scary!!!

Awwww you are going to have the best time! It sounds like you have some wonderful things planned. Take lots of pics! :cloud9:

Your kids are the perfect age for Disney...old enough to do some of the thrill rides, yet young enough to enjoy the "Magic"...though I feel I'm still young enough to enjoy it as well. The funny thing about Disney is that it really brings out the kid in all of us. I love all of Disney. I can honestly say there is only one thing I really don't like...Dinosaur...it is TOO loud and rough! Early Jan. is more crowded than late Jan. but you have a plan and a lot of ressies so you'll be fine. The great thing about a first trip for the kids...they really don't have a concept of all there is so they never feel like they are missing something so everything is exciting! Our last trip was very short(5 days). My sister, Brother in law and neice were all going for 8 days with my BIL's side of the family and my sister invited us to come along too,but timing was bad for us yet we did manage to do 5 days. I was worried the kids would be disappointed if they didn't get to do everything they were used to so I told them to each pick 3 "must do's" , one new thing and one restaurant they wanted to go to and all else would be bonus. That plan worked out perfectly! I have to tell you my 12 year old's must do was to spend a morning at Fantasyland with her cousin to show her all the Magic of a first time trip(She's 2). It warmed my heart to see how unselfish that thought was. Our "new" thing was Soarin'(LOVE IT!!!) And you can see from my name(Bop to the Top) , that my kids are HUGE High School Musical fans!! Happy planning!!!:wizard:

Hey! Who did this quote of me? I did not say that. Someone must have copied and pasted wrong. But I don't think TT is scary at all...;)
