Hi all,
So we have flights booked for January and are in the planning stage for our trip (Jan 22nd to 25th for DS's birthday).
Have a couple of questions and was hoping someone wiser than I could help us out so we can get a handle on this planning malarky.

Were there flash sales for January in the past?

Does anyone remember when free meals offers came out?

Does anyone know how likely it is that Dreams / late park hours will still be on?

Hi, I can't help with flash sales or free meals but dreams is meant to be on for the whole of the anniversary year. I wouldn't have thought there will still be late night opening in January though because it will be dark enough for dreams quite early at that time of year.

Can't help you the flash sale bit, but the last (and I think, only) time they did the free dining promotion was a couple of years ago - I got it when I went in Feb 2010.

Not sure how late the hours will be in the winter, but I believe Dreams will be running until the end of the 20th Anniversary next March/April. So you should be seeing it if you go in January.

i can't see any reason why there might not be a flash sale for late January, you might have to wait until November to get it though.

the last time we had free meals in winter season (2009/2010) on the UK site, it was bookable from late August/early September as I recall. The Irish site has had the free meals deal since I think.

Yeah Elaine we got them the last couple of years for Jan - March and of course the last time we missed them by booking a week too early. Horrible

I think we shall sit on this til Sept/Oct and see whats on offer and hold out for meals free if possible but I do have one more slightly complex question...

If we do cave and book now/soon, and then free meals comes up, can we change our booking to include them or would it be a case of the offers not being transferable.
Apologies for the bad use of explanation - Mommy brain has taken over and I'm hitting a mental block with correct speech and grammar.

Kizzabel - when did you book last year? I am wondering the same re: upgrade.
What exactly is the free dining? Is it for both adults & kids?
