After a two year hiatus we are coming back!
And we are.....
Me - 57 YO Dad
DD - 22 YO
FSIL (Future Son-in-Law) - 28 YO who hass passed all of the requirements to wed my daughter.
We will be staying at the PoP Century Resort from June 5th through the 11th. We stayed here in 2005 and love this resort.
We are flying out Kansas City at 7:15 AM and arriving in Orlando at 12:55 PM via Chicago Midway. I would have liked a non-stop, but I want to get there in time to enjoy a park the first day.
We have 7 day park hoppers, which is a departure from our normal 5-days, but for three dollars more per day I want to enjoy the parks the first and last day. I will be flying home alone at 7:30 PM on the 11th while DD and FSIL travel on to visit his relatives in Naples.
We did not consider using the dining plan as this was a late decision to go and none of us can eat $40 worth of food a day. While I love to plan these trips down to the last limegreen Micky head/photo opportunity/attraction, we do not like to have to be somewhere at a specific time. We will be at each park at opening, but will "go with the flow" most of the day.
Our last trip was our first on-site and the afternoon breaks were great; we will use this break again.
Our last trip was so perfect I hope this trip can be just as great.
One last thing I would like to point out is I used a travel agent for the Disney part of this trip. After reading all of the informative posts here, I was amazed how little the agent knew about WDW. She first tried to get us a suite at the POP CENTURY!
We are looking forward to the trip and will you posted on any changes.
