Three Nights, Three Restaurants ~ Which Would You Choose?

IMHO,

If you have to go for three restaurants, this is what I'd go for and why...

1. Walts - Great service and a really relaxed "away from the bustle" feel as you sit above Main Street

2. Lucky Nugget - best character dining as you seem to get a better crack at the caharcters as they cycle round to you rather than the somewht "random" approach in other locations (unless you have a birthday planned then it's got to be Cafe Mickey - took our DS for his 5th and he was blown away by the attention - especially when the cake came out:woohoo: )

3. BLue Lagoon - quiet, serene (even with a couple of kids in tow!!)
and a lovely selection of food that doesn't seem to b repliated elsewhere.

Hope that's of use to someone...

Another vote here for including Annettes and Cafe Mickey in your choices :thumbsup2

I'm afraid I'm one of those who definitely wouldn't include Blue Lagoon, I've had too much bad food and bad service here. Lovely setting though.
California Grill is wonderful - as good as most 5* restaurants in London, and just as pricey.
I wouldn't miss eating at Annettes, but its a different eating experience.

I would defentially say the
1.blue lagoon!!!
2. Walts
3. Buffalo Bills wild west show...a show and dinner!
Although a bit pricey.
:thumbsup2

Only 3?!?! Oh Gosh, this is hard (Anyone on here will tell you I'm very into my restaurants!!)..... I think I'd personally go for:

-The California Grill in the Disneyland Hotel- V.expensive, but very worth it!
-Cafe Mickey- I love the character interaction here, and the food is lovely!!

Argh!! I don't know! Now my third choice is a tie between The Chicago Steakhouse, The Blue Lagoon, or The Rainforest Cafe. Or Annettes..... ARGH!!

Sorry, I'm hopeless! It's too hard to choose!

Thanks, Bob ~ I am much the same! I ate at nearly all the WDW ones in July and August as I was so worried I would miss something great!

I love the Cali Grill in Fl, so maybe I should choose that one in DLP!

I'm afraid to say I'd struggle to sit anywhere happily with a stick of Celery!!

I haven't tried Inventions or Walts (I want to, but we just haven't been able to so far!) and a lot of people seem to regard them highly....

Where do you think you fancy Raspberry Bubbles?

Thanks again, everyone!

Well, I have it narrowed to:

1. Walt's (although we too will need to do lunch as the park will be closing at 7pm I hear and I have no idea on Walt's hours of service)

2. Blue Lagoon (DH loves POTC) although now I am a little worried about the food. Perhaps lunch again.

3. Chef Mickey's (we love characters).

I also wanted to go to Auberge de Cendrillon, California Grill and so I have a little more thinking to do.

I'm going just after Christmas (27th-30th December) and so I have to think carefully quickly!

Its worth pointing out that the CG in Florida and the CG in Paris are very different restaurants....

Have you checked out the restaurant reviews sticky near the top of the board?? I find that very handy when picking restaurants, and theres often some pics so its very useful!!

My husband and I did Auberge de Cendrillon for the princess lunch and we loved it. The food was very good and the character interaction was so great. I was very worried that it would be horribly noisy, based on the character meals at WDW, but it was not. The children were all so well behaved and it was fun watching all of the young ladies in their princess attire.

We also ate at Blue Lagoon and while it was okay, I didn't think the food compared to Auberge de Cendrillon.
