Inevitably I forget something significant each time I pack for a trip. What's the one thing you must have on a trip to WDW?? - (besides plenty of money!! )

Depends how old your children are. For us, I simply cannot leave without our stroller rain cover! Special blankets or stuffed animals are also a must!

OH and over-the-counter medications like Tylenol, cold meds, cough drops, etc. They are much cheaper to buy at home.

1. One of those little sunblock sticks for touch-ups to faces, ears, and scalps.
2. If you have a 35 mm camera, more film than you think you will possibly need...it's very, VERY expensive in the parks.

Have a great trip!

Besides my usual lists my 2 must haves this time are shout wipes, someone is always spilling something and I am not doing laundry, I am on vacation and ear drops, the kind for swimming since our kids will spend alot of time in the water, I am going in april, also some bandaids, waterproof too. You would be surprised that no lifeguards had them.

-A small pack of antibacterial wet wipes (unless, of course, you have a baby and carry baby wipes with you everywhere). We always use these to sanitize our hands when it's not convenient to wash them right before meals or snacks, and I'll even use them to wipe down a disgusting table when we're eating counter service food at outdoor tables.

-extra batteries for your camera/camcorder

Someone said that if you want to collect autographs from the characters - it's best to have a really fat pen because it is easier for them to hold. So my tip is actually from someone else - pack a fat pen!! Thanks whoever suggested that, it's on my list!

Please don't forget to pack your medicines. Last trip the girls were throwing up---thank goodness i had packed pepto, chammoile tea, etc..... People will say--Oh you can buy that stuff! Well you can't buy it at 2 am when they are sick. It takes up room, but pack it! Better safe than sorry!

Have a great time!!!

Ziploc bags -- all sizes, can be used for everything!
chargers for batteries and cell phones
extra socks -- (if you can't do laundry) it is nice to have a clean pair for the evening
glo necklaces or sticks
photo copy of you tickets (both sides) and travelers checks
snacks
Have a great time, I wish I was going back!

A tube of orajel. It's benzocaine and I never go anywhere without it. It numbs whatever you put it on. It will stop a bug bite from itching, bee sting from stinging, numb a splinter for removal, stop a paper cut from hurting. Our first trip to AK my 3 year old was in the stroller and started screaming. CM's ran over thinking he'd gotten stung. Well, he had buckled the seat belt and buckled a tiny bit of tummy skin into the seat belt. It bulged enough that my DH couldn't easily unbuckle it and the poor little guy was hysterical. I dug out the orajel and lterally the minute it went on her stopped. My little miracle secret,;)

I'm planning on skipping the autograph books....Get everyone a plain baseball cap and have the charagters autograph it. You don't have to carry the book around and everyone needs a hat. Don't forget the BIG PENS! (Wish I could claim this great idea, but I read it somewhere else...) Have fun!

This is from our packing reminder list: park passes, medicine, clothespins, an extra pair of shoes, tip envelopes, zip-loc bags, photo I.D.’s, sunglasses, hats, rain ponchos, and binoculars for the AK. :)

Batteries for cameras. Those hardly ever replaced flash batteries are expensive! Make sure that if you have them, that you take them with you wherever you go. We left ours in our room on the last trip and midway through one day at MK, I was buying them for about 3 times as much as I paid for them ones at the room.

Matching unique hats for everyone. Can't tell you how many times it saved the day when trying to find a missing party member, usually the adults. One year we had off white wool hats with the "Pooh" written on them, CM's loved yelling at us that we had Pooh on our hats and better get them cleaned. When DN then 5 wandered off, the CM knew immediately she belonged to us because he recognized her hat.

Got this tip from a thread here: If renting a stroller bring a bandana to tie on the handle. It was so easy to spot our stroller in the sea of park strollers, just had to look at for the bandana.
