Can anyone tell me what this movie is about? My DS 8 loves Donald, so I"m thinking about getting this for him, but I don't think I've ever seen it. How long is it...full length? TIA! :)

I can't really remember the length at this point. Basically Donald travels around different parts of South America and observes different parts of the culture down there. It has a lot of "education value" if you care for that. It has a lot of music in it. It's mainly Donald and two other birds (hence the Three Cabelleros) and they travel around. It's animation and live action mixed. I hope this is the kind of info you were looking for.

If you are looking for just Donald stuff, I have seen some videos in stores lately that have compilations of cartoons for certain characters. They have one for Mickey, Goofy, Donald, etc. I don't know if you have that or have seen it. I just thought I would add that in there.

My dd5 loves that movie, she watches it over and over again, it has very fun musical numbers - it was fun when we went to the All Stars Music Resort and they had the Three Cabelleros Pool.

I thought I would post this b/c my dd's favorite character is Donald and Daisy as well. Her favorite movie is The Three Musketeers. With Donald, Goffy and Mickey, they are trying to save Princess Minnie and Daisy from Evil Pete. Very cute movie. *hence my name sake.* Hubby, dd and I all got swords (well they are light sabers from the Star War movies, but we go outside, hubby is always Mickey, dd always wants to be Donald..and I am Goffy, and we try to save Princess Minnie and Daisy(stuffed dolls, or grandma. *LOL*) from Pete (grandpa when he plays with us.) It is SO FUN. She really enjoys it, and its such great quality time. So, now when we watch the movie..she picks up lines she can use during our role play. Really cute. I am going on here...just wanted to share a happy memory.

My DS4 loves The Caballeros too. The move is 72 mins. long. Like one of the pevious posters said it has a mixture of live action from the 40's with the animation. It also is in a way educational since it talks about the culture of several South American countries. It is also one of my DH's favorites.

Disney also has another movie which was made before 3 cabballeros. I'm not sure if it is any good, but it is called Saludos Amigos. Has anyone seen this?

Yes! Saludos Amigos was listed in the brochure I received from the Disney Movie Club. I thought maybe it was after the Three C's, but thanks for filling me in. Not sure what this one is about though either. :confused3
