Thread Question

I just recieved a pm telling me that my thread is now locked because I didnt bump it or close it and if I have it happen again I wont be able to post again for a year. Could someone please tell me how to close my threads? I guess I must have missed that rule and I just assumed it closed out on its own *sighs* My mistake but I have other post to close out.

I don't even know what that means????? How do you close a thread? Why would you close a thread? Don't they always stay open and moderators can lock them if need be. But other than that I don't think there is such a thing. I would reply and ask what it means.

This was for a post on the DVC Rent and Trade board. I am assuming it must be related to the board, I need to reread their rules. I did send a pm to the Mod who said I needed to go into edit and then into advance and add the word closed to my post. I am hoping this doesnt apply to all parts for the boards but I need to reread all rules I guess..
