A guy goes to the supermarket and notices an attractive woman waving at him.

Guess what....BF FOUND his wallet last night. It was under his couch. He swears he looked under there when he first noticed it was missing. With a flashlight. It must have just showed up. Yeah, right.

I am, for the most part, packed. I have packed my unmentionables, my socks, toiletries, hat, poncho, sneakers. I have two shirts and a pair of capris too, but the clothes aren't done yet. That's always the difficult part. My books came in yesterday and I don't know which one to bring with me!

I hope I have good weather next week! I can't believe its almost here!

Actually, BF is concerned about "little souvenirs". He's convinced that Disney puts something in the water...after all, its a great marketing ploy, guaranteeing a future generations of Disney-philes! He's so worried about it, its making ME worried about it! So my solution was to get separate beds! We'll see how long he's worried then!

Believe me, there is NOTHING in that water - at least that worked for me. No little souvies in the many times we have been down there. One of them being our honeymoon.
I think Mags must have drank special Disney water.

Yeah, please no souvenirs here. This trip is our last big shindig, then serious saving must take place, BEFORE the arrival of any souvenirs!

The only time I may be partaking of special Disney water is at the Luau. The special drinks are included with the show. I think I read about some sort of sangria--its my weakness!

Whgrn - Sometimes I think our kids were cut from the same mold. So many similarities it is scary. I'd probably set up a day or two during the week and have him only call on those days. Like..."You can only call my DD on Mon & Wed. between 6pm & 8pm. Not sure of the boy's disabilities but with my son, you have to give him VERY SPECIFIC instructions to live by. Good luck!

Magikitty - Yeah on the wallet finding - even if you had to do extra work. STill gives one peace of mind. I also saw you posting on the Budget board about being rejected for certain house parties (Lipstick Jungle, etc.) What exactly is that????

Its Houseparty.com. Different companies send out party packs in order to promote a new product or new show. You have to apply for each party you are interested in. Each party pack is different. So far, I've only hosted two parties--one as for Hershey's and one was for the tv show, The Closer. The Hershey one gave you bags of chocolate, and little stuff like magnets, notepads, and giftbags. The Closer one had a preview of the season openers with wine totes, wineglasses, and bottle openers.

If chosen, you just have to invite people over for your party. You can take pictures of your party and post them on the website. You have to fill out a followup survey of the response to the product.

Its lots of fun, should you be chosen--which is the frustrating part! There are lots of parties starting soon, you should enroll and apply! You never know!

Hey guys, it's almost five and I have a events committee meeting at 7:30, so much to comment and multi and I'm afraid that when I get home we will be locked. So I had to post one last time on this thread. Had a great morning, went to Wegman's to have coffee with two moms/friends from DS's old school. We sat upstairs for hours. It was great seeing them and then shopped real quick and really didn't get much done. Okay need to move, umm PM me please if we get locked so I know where to find us.

Alecia! After my own heart! I love Stephenie Meyer....I bought the gift set of the first three books last year and flew through them! Did you get the Host also? Did you hear that the fifth book was leaked on the internet and Stephenie decided not to write anymore for a while? Aaarrgghhh....now the wait is even longer!

The release of the Twilight movie got moved up to November. I've watched the trailers and my only issue is that Edward is supposed to be super pale and Bella looks lighter than him!

I finally finished my book! I couldn't even allow myself to sit down at this computer until it was done......those darn "responsibilities" of life kept interrupting my reading enough as it was! Anyway-FABULOUS book! Oh my gosh! She is such a great author! I didn't even know about her 5th book until you mentioned it! That ticks me off that we have to wait longer now! Some people! I need to watch the trailer for the movie. I'm thinking it is going to be hard for a movie to compare to her great writing. It will be fun to see.

You ladies are all making me wonder if I am registered to vote?? I'm pretty sure that I am. I know when I lived in ND, we didn't have to register, you just went and voted. I'm positive though that I registered here in IA right when we moved here. I better get "with it" on the issues and candidates so I know what I'm doing!

Just stopping by quick to post a Hello. I have a PTO meeting tonight at 7:00p so I really need to get some stuff done. I subbed today for 4th grade and man, they're more tiring to work with then the littler kids! I had 4 kids that could have used a swift kick in the butt! The one kid that the teacher warned me about actually acted better then the other 4. To bad for them the teacher told me that if she got a bad report from me (which she did!)they would loose time from Fun Friday. I hate having to give a bad report but if they think they can get away with being little creeps then they thought wrong!

I'm not going to quote to save space...I'm just uptight about the thread ending but don't need to be I know. But when MagiKitty said her computer went crazy...I was about to too. I stayed away this afternoon so I would not post more...I'm the one who killed the last one. I guess someone had to be the one.

Anyway...I checked our last thread. It went to 259---I guess the mods weren't keeping that close a tab on us. We had 3879 posts. It started on 11/5 and ended 5/13.

So everyone pm vote for thread name to Racetrack so MagiKitty can start the new one.

I think part of my stress is that tomorrow will be my last time at the computer until probably the 25th. Mom and I are visiting relatives in VA and NC. I'll be in Suffolk for the 2 VA Beachers. I have an aunt in a nursing home near the Coliseum Mall in Hampton I need to visit. I'm not sure she'll know who we are. She's a dear lady and it makes me sad just thinking about it.

How can you kill something that didn't really start? But if it was posted, wasn't it started? If it was started and didn't grow, it's still dead? Or I guess you could say you were ignored??? Someone else answer that please!

My dead thread has gotten lost in the dregs of the restaurant board. I called a CM just to get a more direct answer.

I meant to ask around, after I come back from my trip, will anyone my guidebooks? I have way too many...if anyone has one they've had in mind, ask! I probably have it. I don't have this year's Passporter, or Unofficial Guide, but I do have Frommers, Fodors, Complete Idiots, and many more. I don't need this many and would love to give them a good home!

Hey everyone! I am soooo sorry I have not been around. Things have gotten so hectic again some days I don't know which end is up. Honestly I have not even gone back and read out thread. I had planned on catching up with all of you this weekend, but was not feeling well (the new medicine...thyroid). Dr. said I pretty much just need to work through it and it will get better. He was right, I feel better yesterday and today.

Not surprised it's not in your news...you've got your own election to worry about.

And to answer your question yes he can dissolve parliament.

Canadian Parliament 101...the condensed version.

We vote for our local representative or MP not the Prime Minister. Each MP has a seat in parliament and gets one vote. The leader who has to most MPs gets to be Prime Minister or PM. All issues are voted on and as long as the PM's party wins the vote he stays in power. If he/she loses the vote parliament dissolves and we get an election. Right now Steven Harper who leads the Conservatives has the most MPs but not the 51% that he needs to win all votes, so he must get one of the other parties to vote along with him to stay PM. He feels that if he calls an election right now he will win more seats and get the majority of MPs (over 50%) and therefore not have to bribe one of the smaller parties to vote with him. So he called for an election and "dissolved" his parliament. Clear as mud.
