According to TGM I have 92 days left but unlike you I got very carried away with the planning. DDP, ADRs aahhh. But I think everything has worked out OK...I guess I'll know soon enough.

I use TGM too. We did the DDP the last 2 years and found out it wasn't for us. Too much worrying about ADRs. This year we have 2 ADRs planned and that is plenty. I do follow his morning plans and get there at rope drop and hit all the most popular rides. But once we leave around lunch time, we leave everything open for plans.

Can't beat TGM's best days though.

Make me feel a little better that it's not just our schools. How do you give that choice to parents?

We're doing Sci-Fi for the first time this year. I am burnt out on doing character meals from the last 2 years. But I still wanted something that looked like fun for the kiddos. DH and I were planning a night out to go to PI but now they are closing. I still have to figure out what else we can do. My stepsis is going with us and she said she would watch the kids one night so we could go out.

Good morning! While I was too busy to log on yesterday, you guys were full on chatty! So how did the school week go on for everyone? I'm going to talk to my little niece and nephew today to find out how their first days went.

Just little over a week until my trip! Its grey and gloomy here already. I thought Hanna had already passed coz it rained so hard last night! Then I turn on the news and we're expecting Hanna to hit our area this afternoon! I have to get my luggage out today and air it out. I'm so looking forward to too much food on this trip...it'll probably be the only time we'll do the dining plan so we're going to try every place we can.

MagiKitty - You should come visit me today...it's a little cool (low 70s) but the sun is shining.

So we're planning an afternoon in the pool, then cocktails at a friend's cottage then steak on the grilled at another friend's place. The perfect day...made even better 'cause I'm not cookin'.

Hannah has definitely arrived. The wind has really picked up, and it's pouring. Really dark out too. i hope it isn't too bad out when I have to leave at 5 for a party! I'm cooking up a big ol' pot of sauce with lots of veggies and turkey, ground beef, and chicken sausage. It smells SO good in my house!!

It is raining something terrible around these parts. Started shortly about noon, just a drizzle, and now is just pourin. We have a flood watch.

I have an announcement! I am awaiting the arrival of the mail order husband for Hazel Roomba! I managed to find a refurb Scooba, and his name is Jacques. Hazel is a pretty pearly white, while Jacques is a dusty blue. They'll be so happy together. If they happen to procreate, I'll be sure to send out the Baby Roobas out to all the TKers.

Since the valet incident, I've received several kind PMs from other Dis'ers about my dilemma. Seems they too are afraid of getting flamed for a somewhat controversial viewpoint re: valet. Its so nice to share with others and have a positive response.

Salad and sandwiches here tonight. Just too lazy in this kind of weather.

Evening!!! Finally get to get on here....everyone was home today so I got kicked off the computer.

whgrn-weather was pretty bad up this way today. There was a possible tornado in Allentown. It's been constant rain since last night so we have a bunch of flood warnings. I know they cancelled quite a few of the high school games today. I agree that you're dad played it smart about the game. I know I wouldn't have wanted to be out there today. How are things your way?

MagiKitty-Awww, you could have baby roombas soon. I went back and read your threads on the valet parking. I couldn't believe how snotty some of those replies were. I guess the whole valet parking thing confuses me. They've said you can't use valet parking at a resort and then go to one of the parks. But since you are paying to valet park all day, how would anyone know what you are doing in that time? People say you are also paying for the service but I always thought you were paying for the parking space (just like you pay for the parking space in the parking lot at the theme parks) and that's why you tip the person who takes care of your car. It's just so confusing to me.

Hey there Racetrack! See that we're sharing the same weather...just hope everyone is safe and dry on this rainy evening. Did the weather affect your racing schedule?

Yeah, I'm so conflicted re:valet. It would be so much easier for me in the situation. I don't want to be stranded at WL. If I could be guaranteed that the ferry ran back to MK after Wishes, then that would be perfect. I don't want to pay for a cab either! Anyone know how much it costs to get a car un-towed?

I'm fighting with my printer. I connected my old printer to my laptop and its mad that I have Vista. It has decided to declare defeat and print for me, but it absolutley refuses to scan.

Yeah, the race was suppose to be tonight but they had already cancelled it as of yesterday. They were suppose to race in Richmond so they really had no choice but to cancel.

I agree that the valet would seem to be easiest for you. You technically do have to something planned at WL. I really wonder how strict Disney is about all this. Maybe at one of the monorail resorts, I could see them being strict about the free parking. Or is all the "you can't do that, it's against Disney rules" just people playing Disney police. The same as they do about reusing mugs, ordering kids meals when you are an adult, etc.
