I'm just going to leave that comment alone. Like I said earlier, this is suppose to be a "family friendly board".

I have to get to bed early tonight. (Like 11:30's early)
In case I cannot check in tomorrow..have a good weekend. Stay dry from Hanna. I may go to Mom's earlier on fri to get groceries so we don't have to go in the rain on Sat. I guess the race will be postponed. Not sure how far inland it's to go. Maybe Richmond will get rain too. You VA Beachers stay safe. And you too Whgrn.

But he's not my family....:lmao: (I'ld disown him if he were:lmao: )

Oh, but if only he were your family. You could get a package deal with his brother and I bet he could mess up your name at the banquet like he did his girlfriend's. :lmao:

Wow, you could have one brother making a bow after every win (every week) and another making "imaginary" snow angels in the summer. Who wouldn't want a family like that?

Did you read Jayski today? Kyle won another race. Drag racing against Tony Schumacher in pace cars(?). :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Night M&M!!! Ooops, all this talk about Kyle made me think of M&M's. :rotfl2:

See ya next week and hope you have a nice weekend too. :goodvibes

Warren Wallace would probably melt his M&M's. :lmao:

Night.........

Warren Wallace would probably melt his M&M's. :lmao:

Night.........

I know you've checked out for the weekend buuuttt, Warren ROCKS!!! Those have to be my favorite commercials.

Just so everyone knows, I changed the titles of the LGMH images to make it easier to figure out which size is which.

If anyone wants anything different(sizes, colors, etc), just let me know.

Talk to you all tomorrow.

OOOHH!! I get to be the first poster of the day!!!:cool1:

Thanks M&N. We're supposed to get alot of wind and rain, but I don't think it will be too bad, just ugly. I AM gonna make the kids bring in everything from outside, and I'll take the flags down, just to be on the safe side.

And please ladies, let's NOT talk about M&Ms! I have to wait for breakfast until after I get lab work done, and I'm STARVING!!

Oh, yeah, I forgot to say, sleeping in a bra??? NEVER! NO WAY! UH-UH!! NOT ME! I like to let the girls swing free at night. And if I'm only at home during the day, sometimes then too! Right now I'm in a bathing suit (going to the pool after the lab) and it just has a "shelf bra". Gotta love it.

Now, not so long ago, when I was a DDD cup :scared1: it was a different story. But now, as a "barely C", I can get away with it. Ya know that "pencil test"? Well, I could have held up the entire Crayola 64 colors box before! Now? Nope, that pencil drops right outta there!:lmao:

Just seeing if I can post a picture...

Yeah...2nd try...had to make smaller...sorry it's sideways. Thanks Racetrack for your coaching...I'll get better but my computer is so slow. Actually I guess it's the dial up but I cannot see the extra money for faster now.

And here's my Pal and Pluto...

I must get going on something necessary and not fun...Have a good weekend. They said we'll get 1 inch now. Yesterday they said 3-5. I guess Hanna's moving right along!

I skimmed quickly the 15 pages I was behind on.:scared1:
Thanks for comments on Anniversary and 1000th post.

Meanies make me mad. Big Hug.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: For getting fat from cocoa butter.

New jobs and kids back to school. Celebration time.

The "Green Mounds" are too funny.

THANKS for the green LGMH's.

Sorry if I missed anything.

Kids and I are heading back to Stone Mountain today. They are having the Yellow Daisy Festival. It's a very large craft show. I'll try and check in tonight and let you know what goodies I get. Not going to spend a lot. Saving my money for Disney.

I like Thread Killers 'all tied up'

While its a commercial on Grey's Anatomy....I was talking about the new thread's title and was playing anagrams with United...Untied...and I found a new one....

UNDIET!

I think that's perfect considering the state I'm already in and the gleaming future of free dining in a few days! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I liked "all tied up" until I saw "undiet". Now I'm not sure. :confused3

I wear a bra to bed. :guilty: My "girls" get in the way otherwise. I wish I could go from DDD to C by losing weight but I think I'd be in the anorexic category. Besides I like to eat too much to be anorexic.

Hello folks:

I'm finally back from school...spent 3 hours photocopying and handing out more of the dreaded forms.

It's wet and miserable today here...the tail end of Gustav...so a good time to sit at the computer :surfweb: Mind you is there a bad time? ;)

The mounds are gone and I have my proper mickey (thanks racetrack!!) Mind you looks like they started quite the conversation last night...for what it's worth whgrn even 9 months pregnant I couldn't hold a pencil. :rotfl:

Well I suppose I better figure out what's for dinner and do something around here to earn my keep.

TTYL

Hey everyone...wow I am so behind!!!! All I did was go back through to figure out what the password was for that racerchickie sent me (now I know ha ha). I will play catch up this weekend. Man it has been crazy busy after my trip. I am literally just popping on for a sec tonight (just for you guys. :grouphug: ). I will be around this weekend though. Looks like Hannah is going to force me to stay inside (no worries, just a tropical storm)...speaking of storms...BOPSMOM did you guys pull through Gustov (sp?) okay?

I know I owe you guys pics and an update on our trip. I'm so bad about stuff like that ha ha. I still need to upload the pictures to photobucket. :scared1:

Oh and of course.....

SHMU and Magikitty- You guys are getting so close!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow...looking at everyone's tickers and listening to all your trip anticipation / reports, makes me wish we were going back soon. I feel like I'm the only one w/o a trip planned. :sad1:

I'm going to go off the board w/ a new suggestion for the new thread.

Recovering Thread Killers - The friendliest thread on the Dis.
or
Recovering Thread Killers - Thou shalt not kill!
This thread is so welcoming and so friendly, I think we ought to talk it up. There are so many mean, nasty threads out there, that people ought to be able to come join the conversation, knowing they are safe from all that.
Just my

Have a great weekend all!

Evening Killers, you sure were busy from yesterday til today.

M&N love the title for the 4th one:thumbsup2

Hey!!!! I had the great joy of filling out all the papers last week. :rotfl: I wish they would be computerized too. Or at least have the option of filling them out on the computer. How much time that would save.

:grouphug: for all of you suffering the school forms this week.

Sorry I confused some of you with the pm. I just wanted to get them all sent out last night.

disney54us-How did DS and DD like their new schools? You'll have to fill us in tomorrow.

Pikester-a very special hug for you today. I'm sure those parents are grateful to have someone as wonderful as you there to help with their child. If you want me to change the size on any of the LGMH's, just let me know. :goodvibes

M&N-sounds like you had a busy day too.

Ev-Hey....how was your day?

DS said it was goood, not that fake good but gooood. So I'm hopeful. DD said she did know kids in most of her classes, they may not be 'friends' as in hang out but they know her and she knows them. The girl a few doors down is in her lunch and also in gym along with another kid she knows. I think a little shell shock public vs catholic where they are on you for every little think and here she here's kids cursing in the halls almost walked into two guys starting to fight but she said 'well it was very nice they split apart so I could walk by':rotfl: I told her to be more aware in school. Don't get me wrong, it is not a bad school and it's not like things didn't happen in her old school they just would punish the whole school instead of dealing with the problem.

Busy on the computer most of the day. Unlike you not only do I have to fill out the form...I have to make some of them up too. So today we completed the school newsletter (all four pages) Made up three different forms for the Meet the Teachers BBQ and tomorrow it's order forms for milk & pizza.

I did take a break this afternoon and walked on the beach with my dog. It was gorgeous and of course no one's around. The lake was a little cool though but the dog didn't seem to mind.

Oh your one of the people I can thank for all those papers:lmao:. Actually I am one of those parents who not only reads the newsletter, but looks forward to it. Meet the Teachers BBQ sounds fun and different would love more details.
Now here I was liking you, and apparently you live close enough to the beach to take the dog for a walk, I just don't know if we can be friends any longer:sad2:, cause I think I'm too envious , the word and world beach gets me.

Oh, forget about making up the forms too. I'd much rather make LGMH's.
:rotfl:

What kind of dog do you have? We have a 1 year old Pembroke Corgi. She is a handful to say the least.

:lmao: and you did and a job well done!!!

Okay, I know I'm in the minority but (I love you magikitty) I'm not feeling the name, you know like racer's future Mil had to feel the cakes (soorry:hug:) I don't know, United made sense, untied made sense and it was fun. Undiet, well I get it for you going to free dining but I think all these lurkers will see the title and think it's a diet thread or hey about never dieting and could you see there reaction when they read all the post, I could see it now like what's wrong with these undiet TK'ers:lmao:.
Of course, it really doesn't matter, b/c wherever the TK'ers go I go, with what ever name is chosen. In the end it's not about the name it's about who we are as a thread and how close we have become. I know you guys won't mind me giving my opinion.
Do agree, you need to start the next one, maybe that would work b/f you leave just start one so yours is the first post.

Golden Retriever...he'll be two on the 18th so still has the puppy energy level happening.

His name in Brody...he's the B of BKMETV (I used everyone in the house's initals youngest to oldest. Seemed like a good idea at the time :confused3
Now I look at all the neat names and realize it's pretty lame.

Wow 18, mmm we'll need to talk one day about the differences of US vet's and care and out of the states. I know in Europe their dogs live many more years. I love the name Brody, I think it's cute!!! I have a Cody 110 pd white German Shepard 9 years.

Ev, thank you thank you thank you for the Greek Pasta recipe! It was a total hit in my house!!

Now, what to make tomorrow...and Saturday....ugh, I hate this part! I'm thinking maybe tacos one day, but the other day? Not sure. The problem is that Saturday the weather is supposed to be awful (Hanna is coming to visit us...), so I won't want to go to the store. And tomorrow night I need to do something quick, since we get home from cooking school about 6, and I leave at 7 for a party. Any suggestions???? Keep in mind that I'm eating right!

I think I need to cook up a big ol' pot of sauce this weekend. That would help ALOT with some of the meals! Hmmmm, maybe Saturday...

OK, tacos tomorrow and sauce over pasta on Saturday. Thanks! :lmao: (any other suggestions or recipes will be appreciated too!!

Okay gonna have to try this recipe. Big pot of gravy works, plus you have it for those oh pooh got get to back to school and feed the kids.
Sorry no suggestions, went to Wegmans, and bought some prepared foods. Friday in these parts is the official order out night, but I get tired of pizza, etc. So at least there, I can get 'real' food, it's good and tasty. Your a good mom, If cooking school ends at six (do they get to eat what they make?) and party at 7, (they will have food right?) I wouldn't worry, they can eat when they get to the party:lmao:.

Pikester-I'm sending you a  too! We have 4 or 5 kids like that at my school. They are impossible not to love, but boy do they try everyone's patience at times! The ladies that work with these kids at our school are angels!

Disney54-DH did about unplug the computer on me!! I had to fight him for it tonight! :rotfl: Actually I just got him distracted with the XBox...and I think he thinks I'm working on my Sunday School lesson right now! :lmao:

I'm loving the name TKers All Tied Up!

I have to sort of apologize for all the paperwork blues....not that I directly affect anyone here, but I'm one of those secretaries at a school that keeps on sending it home! I'm actually trying to get rid of a lot of the "junk" that we send home. I swear previous secretaries have had people fill out the same info. on like 3 different forms! :scared1:

:lmao: I thought he did:rotfl:, that's right he would never interrupt you planning for Sunday school. Sssshhh, it's okay, what he doesn't know, he'll be better off:rotfl:.

Okay back to catch up some more.

Evening disney54us to answer a couple of your questions:

Oh your one of the people I can thank for all those papers:lmao:. Actually I am one of those parents who not only reads the newsletter, but looks forward to it. Meet the Teachers BBQ sounds fun and different would love more details.
Now here I was liking you, and apparently you live close enough to the beach to take the dog for a walk, I just don't know if we can be friends any longer:sad2:, cause I think I'm too envious , the word and world beach gets me.

The BBQ is great we do it every Sept. The parents order hot dogs/hamburger/sausage and we have one of the local store do the cooking. After everyone is introduced the families get to tour around the school. Our local radio station even sends a DJ to entertain.

Being by a lake is great...even though I don't swim in it much because we have a pool. Lake Huron is quite large...it's about 90 miles wide where I live with Michigan on the other side...so we have good waves & such. Sort of like being on the ocean but no salt in the water. It's especially nice this time of year with the tourists and cottagers gone the beach is pretty well deserted.

Wow 18, mmm we'll need to talk one day about the differences of US vet's and care and out of the states. I know in Europe their dogs live many more years. I love the name Brody, I think it's cute!!! I have a Cody 110 pd white German Shepard 9 years.

No > he'll be two on Sept. 18th.
