I'm taking it out. I need to see my ticker. Problem...how do I save the pic so I can put it in my avater? I tried and it said something was invalid. How/what program should I use to save in my computer? I used Word.

Hit right click on the image
small box will pop up, hit properties
highlight and copy the url address
go to user cp on the dis
edit avatar
click use custom avatar
under option 1, erase whatever they have written in
paste what you copied under properties
save

it should work, that's how I got your avatar into mine

Good morning! Thanks so much Racetrack...did you see your LGMH in my siggie? I read my emails first and totally didn't understand the PM, but now I'm caught up!

I really regret bringing up the valet issue on other threads. I know its difficult to "read" someone's post, but I just got the feeling that people were thinking I was trying to scam. I'm not paying for a taxi from WL, which will probably be my scenario if we decide to use Disney transportation. I'm just going to send BF via ferry from MK to WL, and I'm going to go back to TTC and drive the car to WL. It'll just be easier on him. I know his ego is bruised right now coz I'm going crazy trying to figure out the "right" way to get us back and forth, but I'm not going to have him sore and blistered just so he can feel "manly" about it.

Mmm...my curry worked out well last night. Its also the kind of food that tastes better the next day. I'm looking forward to lunch already!

I'm getting super excited about the trip. Getting the luggage out later tonight. Already know what sneakers I'm taking, just have to figure out the clothes. Still taking two luggages, while I"m still entitled to it!

I'm just killing time this morning. I am taking over the Home & School (our version of PTA) newsletter this year, so the previous writer is popping by this morning to talk me through the MS publishing program. Other than that the sun is shining so I may have to get out in the yard. I had planned to overhaul DD bedroom but might wait until tomorrow...we're suppose to get the tail end of what's left of Gustav so it's to rain all day Fri.

Ok, kids, I noticed (because I can't seem to concentrate AGAIN today--vacation on the brain) that we're up to page 230. That means we have 20 pages until this thread gets closed. (now 19 pages) It may happen while I'm away...so we need to have the talk.

When the thread gets closed, what will the new thread be named? Taking suggestions.

Last time, M&N and I discovered the locked thread and proceeded to PM everyone...I think this was rather effective.

I guess whoever discovers the locked thread first will just start the new one and if possible, contact fellow Tkers. Or we can start a PM tree to let everyone know what's going on and where we'll be next.

Just something to think about and something else to distract me (as if I need more help).

Have I told you ladies how great you are?! I desperately needed some unwind time tonight...and you provided it. I need to learn that I can't skip even one day of TKers...it takes so long to get caught up!

Morning Killers, okay they are in school! DD was totally in a panic mode sat there this morning saying I can't do this I don't want to go. Thank God the girl who lives a few doors down walked with her, they are in the same HR.
DS seemed in good spirits, and they do a nice job they have balloons in the school colors and music playing as the kids go up to the gate they have the safety mon. bring them to there class. Here's hoping all goes well for both.
I just love our custom LGMH's.

Oh no, it doesn't have to be totally different name, it can be TK III, if we'd like, just like to get everyone's input so we know where to go/what to look for. There seems to be several thread Killer threads here on the CB.

As for Untied...the first thread was Thread Killers Unite! When we knew lockup was close, we started to discuss our next thread title. Thread Killers Reunite was considered, but then we all found Untied to be really funny, so that was the one we chose to use....

There's no real rhyme nor reason, just make sure we keep the thread going and all the TKers come along to the next thread

BTW...I just distracted myself further by ordering books online. I just ordered the third Christopher Paolini book in the Eragon series, although it won't be available until later this month. I also ordered Rhett Butler's People, which I've been wanting to read, and last night's Bones episode inspired me to read the book versions by Katherine Reicht. I'll have something to read at the airport....

disney54us...this is fantasy trip! No sore feet, no tiredness. Making rope drop and closing the parks down! Free calories and the metabolism of a teenage boy!

The best part of fantasy trips.

Teacher just called me. she thought the message that was left from principal also wanted her to call me. Seems very nice, the good news is meany boy is not in his class he's going into 4th they still have lunch and recess together but at least my DS doesn't have to spend 6 hrs a day with him.

What's everyone doing for dinner??? have no clue, it's the night b/f school should make a nice dinner but we can all see how motivated I am

So glad they are in different classrooms.

My fantasy trip just about incorporates everyone else's. I tried multiquoting everyone yesterday and lost my internet conection.

BTW I checked out your trip to Scotland...looks like you had a great time. My mom's scottish so I use to go visit family regularly but haven't been for 10 years now. Kids really curtail the travelling...can't crash on my cousin couch like I use to.

I found out that I don't have to add too much chicken to get the protein high enough for me--there's already a good bit in the pasta, tomatoes, and cheeses, so I only need to put in about 2 ounces. Can't wait to try it. DD is excited too--she LOVES olives!
