Ok! Thanks so much for the reassurance. I'm going to valet all day and spare poor BF some of the walking. (Ev, my BF has CP and has to use crutches, just to get you up to speed). His poor hands and feet are so blistered after a day at the parks!

whgrn...I'm with you about the fresh produce! I'm totally addicted to fresh corn, but sadly, I have this strange allergy to the seed coats of tomato seeds. So I can have processed tomatoes, but fresh tomatoes totally make me itch! (Bring on that benadryl for me...). I miss the cherries too! They were really good this year!

MK, you are right about how far the TTC is from HC parking! I don't know why they don't have something closer. I really feel for the people who have to walk to the gate and beyond to get their wheelchair. Hope that works out for you with valet. Sounds like a GREAT idea!

Ahh, the cherries, they were AWESOME this year! I had them nearly every night. What I'll do now I just don't know.

BTW I checked out your trip to Scotland...looks like you had a great time. My mom's scottish so I use to go visit family regularly but haven't been for 10 years now. Kids really curtail the travelling...can't crash on my cousin couch like I use to.

Dale Jr is now 88, Jeffie Gordon is 24 (for life) Tony is 20 for this year yet but goes to 14 next year.

18 is Kyle Busch...the best (because he wins all the time) and most hated driver right now (because he wins all the time and everyone is just jealous)

I saved the blank one into my pictures and then used the paint program to add my name, and resaved. Then I went to UserCP and clicked on edit avatar on the left, scroll down until you come to custom avatar and option 2. Click on the browse button and you should be able to find your saved LGMH, click on it and then push save changes. Hope that all makes sense.

Disney54us - Greek Pasta is one of my simple stand-bys. Boil pasta (I used whole wheat rigatoni but doesn't really matter. I find shapes rather than long thin pasta works better) When the pasta is done & draining I pour a bit of olive oil in the pasta pot and saute some tomato/grape tomatoes for about a minute. Add oregano, sliced black olives and cook another minute until warm. Add the pasta back in and crumble feta on top. Sprinkle with parmesan and voila 20 min dinner.

Ok, I need some other minds on something. A while back I posted about my dilemma re: WL and MK. I felt resigned to park at TTC and just go back and forth. So I thought about it today, that WL has valet parking, stated as $10 per day.

So, can I pay for valet early one morning and take the ferry from WL to MK for the day and take the ferry back to meet our Wishes cruise? Our car would have been parked in one place all day.

I posted on the diabilities board coz it gets sticky that way. Valet is free for handicapped guests--but I'm not trying to NOT pay for valet. I'll gladly pay for valet if I can spare BF the discomfort of parking at TTC, walking to the ferry/monorail, and then walking to MK. And then back again to go to WL later that day. (We rent wheelchairs at the park). I was told (not too nicely I thought) that I could not park with valet for more than 3 hours if I wasn't staying at WL.

I just called Disney and the CM said that the fee was per day and that I shouldn't have an issue. But now I'm scared that the car will get towed.

So, what's everyone's take on the terms "valet parking $10/day?" Here's my thing. If $11 gets you all day parking at the parks, shouldn't $10 valet also cover all day?

Magikitty, I may may get booted for this but the boards are a great source of info, if you want the facts I would go by what WDW tells you. Though I love our homey thread, the boards are a bunch of told you, told you not's. Not here of course, but why listen to the people who can tell you if they had a problem, but I am sure WDW will tell you the facts. Take what you may have heard on the boards aka follow up and make sure your covered. The rules are set by WDW not the boards. When it comes to handicap situations, I am sure they would have those covered.

I tried Benadryl the other night and didn't get much sleep anyway. That's usually what I do, but this time it really didn't help. I won't take the Ambien on a regular basis--just after a night like last night where I got <4 hours.

I know you have EMT and nursing backround. So, didn't want to sound preachy, just know that give me a Benadryl and I'm in space. Just worry about our TK'ers

Well, dinner was 2 hours ago, but we had burgers on the grill with slices of fresh JERSEY tomatoes, and JERSEY corn on the cob. Gotta enjoy it while we can. The cherries are already gone. BOO HOO!!

MagiKitty-I have never heard that about valet parking. I've researched this same thing myself because we are going to Old Key West for dinner one night and want to maybe go over to DTD too. Everything I have read on here and other sites, say that the 3 hour parking limit is for the guest lot at the resorts. Valet is one price for the entire day.

Okay, DS in bed all pack up for the big day. DD out needed it. was in complete panic, 'I'm not going', BF said you'll be fine let go out whatever will make you feel better. Love that kid, He felt it would take her mind off of it.

She really does take care of me but I can't let her know that or her #18 head will swell! You weren't around when Racetrack and I met at HersheyPark. So we had the first 'live' TK visit. You never have to worry about being left out or forgotten around here. Someone will remind you.
