Hey Killers I know I bid all a goodbye till next Sun. But waiting for DD and DN to get home they took DM home.
Anyway, a beautiful angel has graced this home. Hope is so sweet, beautiful and sorry I'm just so inlove!!!! She is so aware with those big blue eyes seems to be taking in everything and one. It's been a while I forgot those wonderlust early months.
Okay still not fully done for trip tomorrow but hey it's all okay, it's like going home so as long as I have what I need to make it homey it's all right by me. DM and DN and Great DN will be coming Tuesday, so they can bring what I will forget!
SuN SanD and OceaN that's all we need!

lighttech-I know you're already in bed but please let me extend my condolences to your DH. Better luck next week. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:woohoo:  Kevin Harvick!!! Finished 3rd tonight!!!

Oh, do your descriptions bring back memories. Isn't it just so wonderful holding those precious little babies?

Have lots of fun on your beach trip and have a nice colorful fruity drink for me.

Good Morning!

DH did the rest of his bike ride yesterday. He didn't get home till about 4pm. I had to do a double take when I saw him because he had a big fat upper lip. I guess half way through the 100 miles a bee stung him! Poor thing looks horrible and funny! :rotfl:

racetrack18kb & lighttech: Usually DH watches a little bit of the race but I forgot it was on and took over the TV to watch the movie 27 Dresses (I guess he didn't want to watch it bad enough). It was a cute movie. I'm glad I didn't spend the money to go to the theater and see it but it wasn't bad.

I'm off to take the kids down to our High School so the they can participate in a kids mountain bike race. The kids race starts at 9AM with the adult race starting at 10AM. DH doesn't race this one but he does volunteer for the day to help with registration, water station or whatever else needs doing.

Hope to stop by later!

Good Evening all!

I decided to treat myself to a Carribean Smuggler this nice warm evening and pretend that I'm at Bopsmom's house for a sleepover; sitting by the pool. I think I may have mixed it a little to strong. Wow! It is really kicking my butt!

DL55: Didn't I just see you over at the GH board? Hahahahahaha. Chachachacha.(Trying to do the creepy sounds from Friday the 13th:eek: )

Yup, Love GH and scary stories, just not modern scary movies (too graphic). My dear roommates rented Friday the 13th for my birthday (back in the day when it took a year for movies to come out on VHS). Spent the time watching hiding under a blanket.:scared1:
Your poor DH, hopefully the swelling will go down quickly.

Noticed that Kyle Busch won. Normally I wouldn't notice but I do know someone roots for him. racetrck18kb should be pleased. :)

DH is a Jr fan too so I'm pretty good about being nice about him...lots of practice. :lmao:

Already sent M&N an email when Kyle won last night. Wanted to let her know I was thinking about her.

DS is a Harvick fan. He started to like back when Harvick had his bad attitude. With DS's attitude, it was very fitting. :rotfl2:

That's when I considered picking a new driver... I'm not into all the drama. Just race darnit. I actually started to root for Harvick (mostly b/c DH told me I would have more fun if I picked someone) when I was on the road doing the Race Fan broadcasts and we had him for a guest in his first season. He was really super nice to everybody and I figured "why not this new guy?" Lately, I just haven't had time to watch... its DHs downtime during the race, so I try to be in charge of munchkin and let him veg a little.

Do you like scary movies that aren't violent or graphic? That's more my speed. Even if I know the gore is all fake, I just can't take it. I prefer suspense movies and older style like Hitchcock.

Somehow I missed you in the multi quote. So glad you are having a nice time. Hope sounds beautiful... in face and spirit.

OK, well, I was just stopping by quickly. I managed to get DS into bed a whole 1/2 hour early tonight, and I plan on following him as soon as I get some dishes and laundry done...

Have a great night everybody!

Evening!!!! Had a nice relaxing day except for grocery shopping. My bill is going up every week it seems. We have been trying to cut back and save more money but it just doesn't seem to be working with the price of everything going up. We even cut out fast food :scared1: and I have convinced DH to start taking a lunch to work. It's so frustrating.

Pikester-Your poor DH. Hope he feels better soon.

lighttech-took me forever to pick a new driver after Rusty Wallace retired. Didn't start to like Kyle until after we met him. Before that I really didn't like him at all. He is a Busch brother after all. :rotfl: But once we met him, he was so great with all the kids there, it was hard not to like him. We've met pretty many drivers and with some of them you can tell they view meeting the fans as nothing but a contract obligation. Others love meeting their fans and it shows. I don't like gory movies either. Never did and DH always tries to get me to watch them. Now something along the lines of the 6th Sense is one of my favorite types of movies.

Have a nice night and get some rest.

Morning friends! Didn't really have time to get online over the weekend--taking the holiday weekend off last week really messed up my schedule! I think I'm ok now, all caught up, except for here! Am going to go back and play catch up on the weekend's activities of all my friends here....

I woke up in a funky mood this morning. I decided not to leave things to chance and get my tickets to see Sara Bareilles, Counting Crows and Maroon 5 next month. I know, summer has been so expensive so far, but since I only really see concerts during the summer, I see it as an investment. I was surprised that I got some pretty good seats, considering they've been on sale for months...In the aftermath of the Doobie Brothers/Chicago concert, I opted for "real" seats this time. Now I'm super excited to see them!

Hope everyone else is having a good start to the week! Chat with you later and enjoy the day!

Ok! I'm all caught up...

Any news from Magsnden? And whgrn...isn't she back from vacay too? Sorry I missed both D&D and Disney54us before they left...but I do hope they all have a great time!

Pikester...big congrats to the men on the bike race (fat lip and all)

Kim..congrats on the new job! I hope its more along the lines of what you like to do,

Shmu...sorry about the surfing lessons, but it is a great excuse to go back next year! How's the kittydance going? I tell you, its pretty difficult.

Bopsmom....so everyone survived the sleepover! And no sugar comas--quite the accomplishment. Hugs to DD on her dental work. And not liking chocolate? Is that possible? I haven't met a baked good I haven't liked yet.

Disney54us....have a great time at the beach and give extra kisses and hugs to the little one!

Same to your little ones Lighttech! Glad to hear that everything went well t the doctors.,.

What's GH? I only know General Hospital, but how is that scary?

I LOVE South of the Border. At the very least its entertaining to count all the billboards on the way there. We always stop there too, its a tradition. Although as I've gotten older the idea of a long drive to Florida has lost most of its charm. I try to fly if I can.

Ok, I think I'm caught up! Hello to everyone that I missed!

Too much to multiquote...I would get too mixed up...it doesn't take that much to mix me up lately. I was on way home from Mom's this am and just looked around and thought--Am I on the right road, going the right way? I was just on autopiolet I guess but it is scarey.

I think SpongeBob would look nice multicolored. All yellow is BORING! :rotfl: How do little kids even know what boring means? I think the reason I"m having trouble decluttering is because I know I will want/need the very thing I get rid of.

Kim: Do you get to say Gentlemen start your engines! when you advise your auto guys? :rotfl:

I just love

When I drove in Dec, we stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Savannah. It was very nice and not as expensive as I thought it would be...got breakfast too.

Is Shmu making a flat Pedro for Pikester? :confused3

Hope the 2 traveling TKers are having fun. We'll hold down the fort and try not to be too bored.

NASCAR: Please just do not pick a Busch as a fav driver...anyone else....I have to put up with enough from racetrack! There are a lot of good drivers out there. I like Kevin too. Honestly, I think most of them are really nice guys. They all seem to a lot of charity work and really seem to care about the fans. I will not insert a neg comment here even though I want to.

Hitchcock????

Hey everyone! Just saying hi! I am at work, so I can't really stay on. I was on this weekend, but only showing my Mom something on the Food Porn...sorry I didn't stop by.

Love me some South of the Border!!! Love that website. Too funny

Kim- Congrats on the new job!!!!!!

Yes, I like suspense. Hitchcock is great but I haven't watched Psycho more than once. Babysitter let me watch The Birds (way past my bedtime) did have trouble sleeping after that one. :scared: Really enjoyed The Sixth Sense.
MagicKitty Sorry, I forgot about General Hospital, The Young and Restless was my soap. I was referring to Ghost Hunters (TV show), there is a thread on CB that I read .

As for surfing. What a bummer! Sorry about that. But, at least you guys seem to be turning it into a positive. Good for you!
Any excuse to go back.:cool1:

Shmu: Sorry to hear about DS's surfing lessons. I'm guessing the first you heard of it was on here. I wonder what happens to those poor people who booked the lessons based on reading about it in a book and they don't know about or have access to a place like the Dis that keeps them updated about stuff? I guess they are SOL!
I was wondering the same thing because this is the only place I heard about it.

Shmu-Sorry about DS's surfing lessons. Disney never called you about it, did they? I agree with Pikester, what about the people who don't know about the Dis for their info? But it does sound like he has some good back up plans. Though your idea as returning next year to do the surfing is the best. Exactly the type of reasoning I would use for a return trip. :rotfl:
Nope. Never called.
I am thankful for my TK buddies on giving me a heads up on this.

I want to sleep with Pedro! I want to sleep with Pedro! :lmao:
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

You know, there's an "eye-candy" thread on here with pics of Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom.

Maybe we could start one for Pikester? :rotfl2:

Puny is an "experienced" margarita drinker. :rotfl2:

I actually don't like chocolate. Yep, its true. I make some of the best chocolate truffles around (one year I made 72 dozen for christmas gifts)but I can't stand chocolate:confused3
DM says I must not be her child because of this. I may have a snack size almond joy once a month(tmi, i know) but otherwise nope, don't like the stuff.
Send those truffles my way. Mmmmmm I LOVE chocolate.:lovestruc

Shmu...sorry about the surfing lessons, but it is a great excuse to go back next year! How's the kittydance going? I tell you, its pretty difficult.
He was disappointed but OK now. He is going to take the cash and get something he saw at the park last year.
Yea, that kittydance is pretty tuff. Maybe my DD can get it. She hasn't tried yet.

OK, just for the fun of it.......
Our trip is now paid in full.
Also, last week I pulled out some cash and put it in envelopes to have it ready for Mouse Keeping and Tips for our meals.
Puny decided he wanted to "Roll in the Dough":lmao:

Good Afternoon!

Yesterday was pretty quiet on here. I guess we were all busy.

I so wish I could walk over to the couch, lay down and take a nap. My eyelids want to close so bad! I guess I should have went to bed earlier then I did last night.

I just spent the morning grocery shopping with both kids. At Wal-mart I let them go together to the toy department and they have to stay there until I come and get them. I also gave them a walkie talkie (I know it's called something else but I can't remember) while I took the other one so we could stay in contact. That worked great! But, then I had to go to Hannaford supermarket and by the time we were done there I just wanted to go home so I skipped going to Home Depot to get some floor cleaner. I'll wait and get that next time.

MagiKitty: GH is the show Ghost Hunters.

I'm not a big gore fan. I love the Twilight Zone. They had a marathon over 4th of July weekend on the Sci-Fi channel. We saw the William Shatner episode where he can see the gremlin on the wing of the plane but nobody else can. One of my favorites is the episode where these differently dressed people are all trapped in a room that they keep trying to get out of. They keep hearing a dong, dong noise every hour or so but are not sure what is making it. Finally one of them gets out and the audience sees that they are all dolls in a donation box that is located on a street corner near a large clock that dongs every hour. The doll that got out is then placed back in the box. Weird!

Hi M&N!: I've done the autopilot thing before too and it is pretty freaky.

Boy! Take longer then 5 minutes to answer a post and look who shows up!:rotfl:

I was wondering who Puny was. Now I know and knowing is half the battle! G. I. Joe! Sorry! Brain wandered for a moment.

M&N....no more AutoPilot for you! We all love Patrick, but he can't drive by himself!

Ah, Ghost Hunters. I've seen adverts for that. Nope, won't watch it. Big scaredy-cat here. (I can barely do the Haunted Mansion). But I do love (most) of the Twilight Zone! I'm terrified of the one with the doll that wants to kill the stepfather, that guy from the Odd Couple. And the one with the mannequins in the store. One of my faves has to be the guy who just wants to read books and when he gets the chance to, he breaks his glasses!

Tidbit of knowledge...Rod Serling grew up in the Binghamton NY area (where I went to college--cool little museum of him there) and if you watch enough Twilight Zone episodes, you'll see that he made a lot of the locations local to Binghamton! Like the one with the bus station where no one really goes anywhere....

Now Puny, behave yourself! All those singles look like you're going to go the local "gentlemens" club! But I'm looking forward to having a drink with you--how about you and me in Mexico? I'm sure I can shake the BF for a little while....

OT--but if anyone may have a passing interest, Zales.com is having an amazing sale with an additional 30% clearance. I got Mom a Coach watch for less than 100 and my nieces some earrings for under $30, and nice bracelet for my SIL. I'm half done with my Christmas shopping!
