Hi everyone!!!!! Well, the lunch went off today without a hitch...Thank Goodness!!! Uninvited girl did show up but she "behaved". She is one of those people that every time she goes to lunch (every time) she eats half of it, then complains so she can get it for free. Maybe sitting next to the SR. VP stopped her. .

I am still interviewing people. We are a really really REALLY lively office so we want to find just the right fit. We like to laugh a lot, have fun yet still get our work done. I am sure I will find that perfect fit soon. Ha ha. My boss said to day "Leave it to Mimi (thats me) to hire based on 'laugh factor'. Hey, I can train anyone. I think for a buyer it is imperative they have a good sense of humor...am I being dumb?

Oh, pepper what drama, I'm confused as usual I thought you work accounting, maybe that was Audisfan. You keep saying buyer in your office so I guess I'm wrong on the accounting thing


Okay, big day tomorrow windows by 9:00am. The past couple of night on FLN (Fine Living Network), they had 'what you get for your money) vacation. Guess where Killers???? Yep that's right, WDW!!! Caught it on my way up 2 nights ago, then last night same thing happened. I thought it's on again, at least I caught it more from the begining.
It was based on the same amount of money and going for 5 days 4 nights and three different people and where how they stayed. One was a couple who were there on there honeymoon 31 years ago, so it was just †he 2 of them and they did more luxurious things. The next was a couple with 2 kids and then their was a mom with her 2 or three? boys. So it was showing the different things for different ages and family make ups. From that, I know in my to many trips that we have never gone to the Yaht Club Steakhouse, I want to do this, I know that one of the 'water parks' which I wanted to do for DD have 'surfing lessons' and the waves keep coming. Tried b/f but they were booked so maybe that would be fun. This is the first time, this past year that we have 'missed' a year since 98. So don't I get to make up for time loss??? Look at the money we saved.


Oops almost forgot, DL55 so glad, well not glad it's your DD but glad you weren't talking about your DH. Teenagers, Don't you love them??? You have to, what else could we do with them.

Nope, I am a Sr. Buyer (My official title ha ha. I just prefer to be called Mimi ). Purchasing does fall in the Accounting Dept at my work though so I may have used the Dept name instead of buyer.

I missed a Disney show!!!! BUMMER!!!!

WHAT! I MISS A WEEK OR SO AND MY TK BANNER IS GONE!!!!!Well, fine:

I am sooo behind in the topics I think I will just lurk until I catch up.

We survived Spring Break, Easter, our birthdays (mine and DD's), and spring plantings. I'll need ixiedust: for tomatoes (I love them but have a tough time growing them and beating the animals to them)

I got rid of the skunks and it didn't involve firearms!! The organic stuff I used had an added bonus.
My (lovely )neighbors have 3 dogs that they just let poop all over my yard/flowerbeds,sidewalk,porches,everywhere and they never pick it up and really don't care if we see them do this. The neighbors have 1/2acre in their front/side yard and I have a tiny front yard so it really is just spite. This "fight" has been going on for 6 years- since I have been unable to "train" the humans, the skunk stuff has been training the animals-they now avoid my yard.

DH is MIA (again) poor guy, they run him all over the country in this new job.

In my effort to keep up I can't find who was missing the basil seeds.
I know Disney54us needs some, but who's package got torn up in the mail?

BTW-Love the "GET A LIFE" I want one that says,
*"I have a Life and my Mom says I can't trade"
(*that's what she always told us about trading lunches at school)

We really really missed you! We were SO worried about what might have befallen you! I'm glad you're ok, and so sorry little mags is sick! Hope she's on the mend soon. And just really really glad you are back here where you belong!

Ahh, the gang is back together. Well, except Shmu, but we KNOW where she went, and she''ll be back.

BTW, I'm the one with the torn envelope who still needs basil.

So, I spent 5 hours at the dentist, under sedation, having a ton of work done, and now I'm a little sore, and a lot groggy, but not enough to go to sleep...yet.

Today one of the kids on the bus was annoying DS, so DS "flipped him the bird and told him to f*** off". Nice, huh? The guidance counselor called, and told me DS is NOT in trouble, but she wants to know who got him so upset, since he wouldn't do this otherwise. I actually agreed with her too! But when I asked DS, and first he said he just told the kid to "shut up", he only fessed up when I told him I'd already heard what he did! So now he has to write a note of apology to the other kid (who really IS a pain in the a**, and I'd like to tell him to f*** off too, especially when he keeps annoying the heck out of DS. BUT, what DS did WAS wrong, and now I get to email the counselor and tell her what happened. Oh, and just HOW was this kid annoying DS? He was talking about Transformers. DS thinks they are stupid. And THAT is the reason for cursing someone out? I don't THINK so!! AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!

In other news, DMom is still here and I am so glad. At least I don't have to face these demons (er, I mean, children...) alone today!

I know DS actions today should have made me go "the nerve" but I must admit it gave me a chuckle. I agree with him Transformers are stupid. I can never figure those dumb ol' things out ha ha.

Its an article on a new game from Wii. I seriously can't decide if I want to shake my head or roll around laughing. I think the folks making Wii games could save the world if they just turned their minds in a different direction.

I saw the post about free dining too but it doesn't help us at all. I got a pin code in the mail last week too but believe it or not, the AAA discount was even better. Still would love to get one of those 40% codes everyone is talking about.

I went and checked that out. There's a whole board just for cooking and recipes?!!! I was just saying to DH after dinner tonight how I'm tired of making the same old things. Looks like I'll have to check that out more often and get some good ideas. Congrats on the new windows....as I sit and listen to mine rattling in the wind.

Morning friends...I survived the night. There were some terrible storms! Lots of grumbling thunder and heavy wing and rain. Its beautiful today, though, chilly, but NOT sleeting or raining. I'll take it.

It feels like a Monday. I know it isn't, but my head just says it is, and boy am I confused. I had migraine most of yesterday and I think that's why I'm so confused. Yeah, that's it.

Ah, no sign of free dining. Feels good coz then I don't have to dread the Visa bill, but still fantasizing about Disney world.

I'm that person who rips out all the recipes in the magazine and never gets around to actually using them. In recent months, I've been better, and the recipes I've liked I've transferred to a notebook. Unfortunately, I'm not that brave in kitchen and end up making the same meals over and over again.

Ok, back to fighting Monday-itis on a Wednesday. This should be fun. Good day all!

lighttech: for you and DS, I would melt too with a comment about giving you a hug, what a . Glad you seemed to find a school you like. Have to tell you, all you can do is make the best decision based on the info and what you see now. What I am trying to say is that if this school gives you that feel good feel then go with it. Through the years things change and what you like and works for you now, you may not feel the same in a couple of years. That's okay, it happens. Schools are a growing experience for the kids and parents alike. See, you thought no one knows your name and they do
DS has a Wii, but I don't think we will be buying the wee game.

Yep, that's why I read the Budget and Community Boards, for the entertainment.
