So where does Allegiant fly into? We just recently got JetBlue and AirTran in our little airport--and JetBlue goes direct into MCO. Before, I had to take USAirways to Philly (in a VERY VERY small planelet), maybe stop in Charlotte, before I got to Orlando. Now its walk on in NY, off in sunny Florida! So much easier.

That being said, my airport does not have the best track record of KEEPING airlines in the area. We recently lost American Airlines. I just hope JetBlue stays forever. Their service was great last year.

Jet Blue, suppose to be a very good airline. They have DirectTv screens behind every seat and good prices:yay:.

I don't even know about the notifications anymore. I never check since it is so irratic. I just make a point to check on us a couple of times a day to see if anyone has posted. I hope they give us notice that it is almost time to lock the thread. It should be easy to add a link at the beginning and end of our original thread. Since you started the thread, on you very first post, you could edit it and add a link (copy and paste the address from the web browser)...you know "thread continued here... " When you start the new thread, in you first post add a link from the old thread to the first post and say "thread continued from here...." I'm pretty sure that is how it would work. Maybe we could ask shmu to do it since she has those wonderful links in her pre-trip? And if it makes you feel any better, we did enough laundry today to cover you for a couple of days. Saturday is laundry day here and with 6 people...well, you can just imagine. :rotfl:

Hello, for only having a computer for a couple of years, you have all the lingo down:thumbsup2. DB, must have done a very good job, and you completely lost me:confused3 .

We're going to have to ask Shmu...I know how to cut and paste (I think) but where's my web browser?

{Good thing BF is sleeping, he'd kill me for asking such questions. He's a computer junkie but I don't take his directions too well}

Sounds like a plan!!!

ok, I sent kaylarjr a pm from all of us...just asking when the official cut-off number is and if they send a notification that it will be closed. Once I hear back, I'll post for all of us.

I'm surprised anybody else is still up. I should be in bed since I have to go to the "big bridal show" tomorrow but I think I'll have to be on auto-pilot to make it through the day. I am looking forward to the cake part of the show...samples please. :rotfl:

Ooh bridal show, fun! Cake samples and flowers, I like it. How many have you been to? What are you guys looking for now, btw the flower girl dresses are beautiful.

Heading out in a minute. Just checking in quickly.
Glanced a little at posts.
Yes, I can do the links if we have to start a new thread. I would not mind at all.
Randy from my PTR taught me how to do it. (Gotta give him credit)

Clean up time now I guess.
Gotta share an ad I saw on Craigs list this morning.

Free Duplex with some Tornado Damage

Cheapest duplex in Atlanta, must be moved to your location. The roof has already been removed for ease of transport and currently sits in he middle of Lucy Street. Slight structural damage, but all systems including HVAC are less than four years old. House has plenty of beautiful natural light in all rooms, for that back to nature feel. Please feel free to view aerial shots, currently available at channels 2, 5 and 11. As Robin Williams said in "The world according to Garp", I'll take it, it has been pre-disastered, What are the odds of anything like this ever happening to it again. Sorry, I cannot deliver...please don't ask.

Feel sorry for the guy, but the ad is funny. :happytv:
We have a little airport but can't keep any puddle jumping airlines. The next closest airport is in El Paso approx. 2 hours away. That's why we usually just drive. :car:

Hellooooooooooooooooooooo Everyone:)

I answered the PM but than figured I would pop on and explain it to you all here.

The cut off is 250 pages .

What happens is when the Mods notice that you have hit 250 ( or sometimes over that if we miss it) we will split the thread.

The first one will than be locked but still readable and a new one will take up where this one stops....

so if we notice at 280 pages that you need splitting the new thread will start at already 30 pages long cause we will start it at the 250 mark....

Does that make sense?????????

Hi, Kaylya:wave2: glad you stopped by. It makes perfect sense, I even understand it:laughing:, thanks for helping out!! Do drop in when you get a chance.

Hi everyone, okay you guys have been quiet:confused:, guess your busy, dreamin how was that bridal show?? Bopsmom, haven't heard from you since you posted "nevermind" , did you guys break into DH's wine cellar???

Thanks for explaining that to all of us Kaylajr ! You're always so helpful :thumbsup2

Yes, Hi Disney54us!!!
Always seem to get on here when very few people are around.

So, how's the weather where you are? We have sun and 40s today.

Well that's not to bad considering where you are, right?? It's in the high 40's now, but was ten degrees high yesterday, so it feels colder. Sun decided to finally come out now, but was cloudy and damp most of the day. Spring is it here yet??? Itching to do yard work and start planting.

I know how you feel.
Can't wait to start planting. :flower3: Been checking to see if my tulips are coming up yet...but no such luck. I hope they make it this year. Just planted them last fall.
We had a patio put in last fall in Oct. right before the snow flew. Haven't been able to enjoy it yet.

You know I'm looking for wedding ideas, no not for me:laughing:. My, DH's DN is getting married in May. Her parents moved to FL, but she grew up around here and is getting married at the church just a few blocks from us. Anyway when she was here a couple of Thanksgiving's ago ( we had only moved in a few months prior) her and BF came over. She kept saying how she loved the house and it reminded her of the one she grew up in, Old houses do have charm when they're not cold:rotfl2:. When I heard she would be getting married around here, I thought she may like to get ready here and have her b/f the church pic's taken here w/ her parents. I offered recently when her DM was up for the shower. Seems she love the idea and to my surprise things have changed since I got married. The bridesmaid (all 7) do hair and make up here??? In my day they came to your house ready, okay they may put the dresses on at your house and 'freshin' up their make up. Anyway it's fine and I don't mind my SIL even gave me a thanks and if you want to back out it's okay , that's alot of girls getting ready. I'm excited actually and have been looking at things to make the house 'bridal' day ready. So any suggestions, throw em out there Killers. I did see a great lighted trellis at Micheal's that would look great at the bottom of my steps outside. Then I would line the walkway w/terra cotta pots w/magnolia leaves and candles in the center covered w/hurricane glass. Hopefully my hydrandrea's will still be in bloom they are hedges going down the side and when in full bloom look like a snowy mountain.
Okay, sorry to go on and on, just needed to give you guys the backround and where I'm going w/this.

Patio's, left a beautiful one behind that was only one year old when we moved:sad2:. Ahh, you will have great summer evenings on it:goodvibes.

We're looking forward to it. It's mostly concrete, but we spent a little extra to have it outlined in brick and then have two brick seatwalls put it. So far I have only been able to admire it through the patio doors (when the snow melted of course, so that's been what...2 weeks):lmao:

Your wedding ideas sound wonderful, especially the lighted trellis. Maybe Bopsmom will chime in. She's good w/ planning events.

Sorry to leave ya all alone, but gotta go for a bit while I get dinner ready. We're having spaghetti. I've got 2 hungry boys who are just famished right now  asking when dinner will be ready.

Oh, love the idea of the brick outline and seats:thumbsup2. We didn't do that in the old house, since we knew we would be moving. How soon we didn't know but we tried to watch, knowing we were going soon. You aren't elevated are you:confused3 , I have issues since doing my back flip on river rock on a 3 tier deck w/build in benches and no backing:scared1:, That's how I ended up w/ 2 broken feet, but on the plus thats how I found you killers:thumbsup2

Hey everyone! I see it's been kinda quiet around here today. At least I didn't miss too much being gone all day.

disney54us-the lighted trellis sounds wonderful. I remember when you had your broken feet. "Free the foot" was our chant for a while I think?

D&DDisney-So, it finally stopped snowing up your way? :rotfl: Your patio sounds wonderful...hope it warms up soon so you can get outside and enjoy it.

kaylajr-thanks for stopping by. And thank you for clearing everything up for us. :goodvibes Come back and visit soon.

Well, we went to the bridal show today. It was alot smaller than I thought it would be. Stepmom did make a few appointments for cake testing so that is out of the way now. The host for the prize give aways was horrible. He kept trying to be funny but fell very short of that goal. One of the highlights of the day was the men's formal wear show. They called up 4 mother's of the bride and handed each of them a piece of a tux. They then called out one of the models who came out only dresses in a towel. The moms then had to dress the very good looking model. Let's just say there were some very happy moms after that. :rotfl: By the end of the day, we ended up sitting in one of those limo bus things watching the race on their big screen tv. A perfect end to the day.

Welcome back to the real world:rotfl:. pieces of a tux, okay this show was rated R:rotfl:. What's up with the cake, she seems to be 'stuck' about the cake. I would think with your help she could find one that 'speaks to her'. At least you enjoyed the limo bus. Heard from DS's friend who's DD is in TN there was a bad crash:eek:.
To funny, remember the early days and the 'free the foot chant' well we have all come so far and stayed together:thumbsup2. As martha would say "it's a good thing":thumbsup2.

The cake thing, didn't mean it to sound :rolleyes1, just seems she is on the hunt for the perfect cake, but what about the rest of the wedding. Is she all squared away??? Are we on w/ the beach theme:cool1:, I am so liking that one!

Oh, everything else for the wedding is pretty much done. She just can't find a cake. I've sent her dozen of pictures but maybe she has just seen too many. Yeah, she's still has a partial beach theme going on. The invitations are being sent in bottles and part of the table decorations are small bottles filled with sand and seashells.

What crash? Tonight? Could you explain more?

Hey Killers!! Been a crazy busy day--church, friends over, then clothes and shoe shopping with the kids.

If I kill someone for abject stupidity, is it still considered murder? And if it is, will you all visit me on death row, bake me a cake with a file in it, and spring me?:rotfl2:

Like I said, monjo shopping with the kids. First stop was Payless. They both were in desperate need of new sneakers, and DD needed shoes for Easter and for Nanny & Grandpa's 60th anniversary party the following week. So, we found sneakers X 2 for each of them, and some very nice, white, comfy, dressy shoes for DD for $10. I told her she needed them for Easter and the party, we talked about how they would look with her dress (the ONLY one she owns, BTW...). Fine. Well, fast forward to tonite, DEx stops by to drop off DD's purse that she left at his house yesterday. I tell him "we got shoes'. He says, "I got her shoes!" So I send her to get the ones I bought, and I look at what he bought and laugh, and say "she wouldn't be caught dead in these!" (they are REALLY ugly! Gold metallic, with a wedge heel, sort of like ballet flats with a heel, in sort of a mesh looking leatherette. UGH!) And DEx says "she picked these out!" WHAT?!?!?! First of all, I'm stunned because she has a fit if there is ANY heel when I pick a shoe for her. But, helllllooooo? We went shopping today, ONE DAY after he bought these shoes WITH her. We talked about WHY we were getting the shoes. Did she, at ANY time, mention that "oh, mom, I don't need new shoes--Daddy bought me some yesterday"??? NO!!!! AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!

Anyway, the rest of our shopping was quite successful. I got some great clothes for DD--obviously for a girl, but casual enough that she doesn't feel "fancy" (which, being a total tomboy, she hates). Lots of pinks and other bright colors. Her skinny little butt (size ONE!!!) looks so cute in basically anything she puts on. I got her 2 "grownup" bathing suits (she's a full B cup, so the girls' sizes just don't cut it anymore.) One bikini, and one tankini, which she will wear Thursday when she goes swimming with the church youth group (they invited the middle school kids to come--all 3 of them!) And I found jeans and khakis for DS--no small feat, since he's an 8 slim and that size is impossible to find. Thank God for WalMart!!!

This weekend has gone by so fast, I can't believe tomorrow is Monday already!

You know I'm looking for wedding ideas, no not for me:laughing:. My, DH's DN is getting married in May. Okay, sorry to go on and on, just needed to give you guys the backround and where I'm going w/this.

Ooooh, that sounds so pretty! I think you should go with it just the way you said it! And of course, we will need pictures...

Patio's, left a beautiful one behind that was only one year old when we moved:sad2:. Ahh, you will have great summer evenings on it:goodvibes.

We have a patio that never got much use, since it gets full, constant sun and gets VERY hot. We had an awning, but it didn't do much good. Well, last fall we put on a covered, open porch. What a difference!!! Now we have shade, a nice area to sit outside. I cannot wait for spring and the chance to try it out!

Well, we went to the bridal show today. It was alot smaller than I thought it would be. Stepmom did make a few appointments for cake testing so that is out of the way now. OMG that sounds hysterical! This is gonna be one interesting wedding!

whgrn-you took 2 kids shopping for clothes and shoes in the same day? I think you could get away with a temporary insanity plea!!! :lmao: I hate clothes shopping with DD12. She loves shopping. Me, well, I go to the store, know exactly what I need, get it, and leave. Nope, not her. Getting a new pair of jeans is a 3 hour ordeal with her tryine on every pair in my price range....sometimes 2x because she can't decide. And shoes are even worse. She has more pairs of shoes than I do...she even spends her allowance on shoes. Sometimes I wonder if she is my daughter. :rotfl2:
