My user name says it all. Have you read my thread about the man who is not from America who never heard of Mary Poppins. My ds lent him the dvd that dh bought me for xmas. The man told us after watching the dvd that Mary Poppins was not for his family, huh? Guess he definetely needs a dose of pixie dust and disney magic.

I've had a dream, rather a nightmare, about Mary for all this weekend last night I dreamed I was on a beach summer home with Mary Poppins and it was really hot. Then we stepped into the ocean and Mary Poppins head fell off and she died. Then her umbrella landed in my hand and I became Mary Poppins. Then a giant hurricane came and I had to leave Lousiana, thats apparently where I was. Then the hurricane killed everyone and I was the only survivor and I still had to run away from this clown.

The night before I was Mary Poppins, in a freaky toyland. I was flying over the rooftops and singing with my umbrella and everyone around me, who looked like dolls or nerds candies sang a freaky song about "Industry my homeland!"

Then I dreamed I was on this Mary Poppins ride and I saw the Jolly Holiday scene and I got so excited I fell out of my cart. And then I went to a museum and they had a Mary Poppins ride where you could ride through the clouds singing supercalifragilisticexpialidocius with Mary, Bert, Jane and Michael. It went soo fast. That was extremely FUN!!

but at the end of my dreams I always get lost in the same cemetary and corpses come out of their graves and try to attack me!

I use Mary Poppins quotes all the time. I just told my son not to make a pie crust promise - easily made, easily broken!
Have you ever noticed that Mary Poppins is always referred to as Mary Poppins, never just Mary (except in the song Jolly Holliday). My DD3 is obsessed with Mary Poppins. She loves Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, too! I think she has a thing for Dick Van ****!

I love Mary Poppins It was my mothers favorite book. Shortly after she passed away, I found the book in her sewing/reading room with a book mark in it. I stil have the book, with the bookmark still in the same place.

I love Mary Poppins! I have a 46 year old father who loves Mary Poppins and will watch it probably about once every other month, even if no one will watch with him!

When I was a kid, probably about 3 years old or so, I used to pretend I was Mary Poppins. My neighbors had a stone wall in front of their house that was about 3 feet tall and I used to put on my bathrobe, grab my umbrella, and jump off the wall pretending to fly. My parents still laugh about it to this day.

We have tickets to see MP on Broadway Veterans Day this year - Can't wait since this was one of my fav (and my dd's) movie of all time.

A women I did Beauty and the Beast with last summer is in the ensemble of MP. She is also in the Ferbreeze commercial! She has a beautiful voice
