Mel, I received lots of comments about your shirt. I did give your name . I said they could find you on DISboards.com One lady asked 10 times. Oh I decorated the door. I made 8x10 pictures instead of 4x6,so the door was pretty covered. Gloria liked a couple so I gave her what she wanted.

So glad the cruise went well.,....The door looks great and I'm happy I was able to contribute in a small way. Soooooooooooooooooo??????? when's the next big cruise???We have to get busy planning---lol---ok I'll let you have a few days to relax and enjoy being home.

But when you get back, are you going to do a trip report? I'd love to read/hear about the Sea Lion Swim. We have one excursion tentatively booked -but I keep looking at that option (the sea lion swim) and wondering if it is wonderful.

They fold like a christmas cracker--my mom was British and we had them on special occasions ,,,you put treats and paper party hats inside --we used to each hold an end and pull to pop (tear) them open,,,we secretly made a wish..The white diamonds you cut away...so that part of the Disign is empty.

I;ll try to see if I can come up with a picture of a finished one....

Thanks for being so kind Mel. I really hated feeling like I was thread-stealing, but loved hearing someone was going to do it. After I posted I realized I could have just sent a PM asking, but didn't think of that first.

I wanted to do the sea lion one at St Thomas - but DH wasn't sold. So we are tentatively scheduled on a boat called the Island girl. It is a small group (max of 6 people) for a full day of sailing, power snorkling (I figured this would appeal to DH), lunch, etc. The reviews I read said they know where you can see sea turtles, etc. I thought Maddie and Mickie would love that. But I keep thinking they would love the sea lions more. . .and what memories that would make.

I called coral world directly to reserve the spot and they took my info and followed up with an e-mail. They were really sweet. Let me know if you have any other questions. Glad u enjoyed the link. My DDs aren't the bravest kids in the world. Not by a long shot. We took our first WDW vacation in November 2008 - took the kids to the backyard BBQ. Minnie Mouse charged at them with her arms out (I think it was their blinking hots/Minnie Mouse western wear). My DD Mickie took off running the other way screaming she wanted to go back to Texas NOW!. Thankfully she warmed up after a few days. LOL. So, I'm not 100% sure how they would do with sea lions. My DD Maddie was mauled by a dog - badly - a few years ago. So, that is our hesitation - would it scare them, or would it create memories. When they see the pics they want to do it -however, they wanted to meet Minnie Mouse, until she was right there in front of them.

Oh wow sorry to hear that about your daughter being hurt by a dog. When I was a little girl that same thing happened to me. I have never forgotten it. Anyway if it is ok to ask where in Texas are you? I just noticed that is where you are from? I'm in katy texas right outside of houston. So another ? how old will they be at the time of the cruise? Maybe by that time it might be ok. I'm not sure. But I will know more after our turn.

OMG I must be not paying attention these days. Till u sent the pic I didnt know u had twins. They r sooooo cute and I can't tell anything happened to her. She looks so cute and sweet. So funny we meet on the Dis and live in the same place. Too funny. Mel is spreading her pixie dust to us and also helps us meet our nieghbors. Too cool.

I am so ready for this cruise to get her I can hardly stand myself. Keeping a secret this big is so hard. And I have decided Mel has made us so many wonderful disigns I am going to have to change my door daily. because I love them all. I still cant believe the sea lion one. Too crazy. Anyway we have really taken over Mel's thread.

I know - it is neat. (Sorry again Mel). I've run into you on other boards (like the November 2009 code one), but never noticed you were in Katy.

So your DS doesn't know about the cruise at all? My DDs know. They sometimes have a hard time with the concept of time. . but they know WDW is when they are 6 and Mickey Mouse's boat is for when they are 7. The only downfall is they want me to make shirts for both - but I'm not, as they could grow between now and the cruise. We've made a lot of magnets though - love them. We will have a "dedicated to Mel" kind of door. My DDs love to decorate the fridge with them, practicing. I wanted too many, in case some disappear - that way they could redecorate if need be. Course, I'm a OCD planner - so making them pretty far in advance. LOL. It was too exciting/fun to wait.

-I would also like another life preserver with Chip n Dale in pirate. Can you decorate the life preserver with pirate themed art ?Can you personalize it with Saki and Skevo?? (they are twins)
-From post #871 (pg. 59)-pirate’s night-can you personalize with the Mangos Family-can you please remove the year?
-from post #1260 (pg.84)-we are with the wonder; could you make the color of thr font in black?
-Also I need tags for my FE gifts. Could you do some pirate theme ones and personalize them with “from princessE and Family”
