I was VERY lucky to get a very short notice time at Le Cellier for our upcoming trip. We're going 9/9 - 9/13. I got a ressie at 4:30 on Saturday 9/11. Perfect! Except here's my dilemma. My DS is dying to try Via Napoli. My kids don't know about this trip so I can't ask him other than hypothetically what would he think. We talk about Disney all the time so I asked him which he would rather have and his answer was basically go to Epcot two days so he could have both! Well, since this trip is short we're only doing one day at Epcot. Now, I did book a Via Napoli for 11:30 a.m. so my thought is just do a smaller lunch, (ie we all just split a pizza to try it). Thoughts?

On a side note, I really really wish that they had just put in a quick service place, like a window with pizza rather than make it a sit down restaurant!!

Ditto on the quick service pizza window- would have been great! We looked at Via Napoli on our trip in August (they were having soft opening) and decided it wouldn't be worth the ts credits. If you are on the dining plan I say do Le Cel as it's about to become a 2 credit meal. Otherwise just go with what you want; explain to ds that you wanted to wait for Via Napoli as they have just opened, menu isn't set/guaranteed, perhaps? I really don't know how you are going to eat lunch at 11:30 and dinner at 4:30. DD and I split a cs meal at brunch (sometimes b'fast, sometimes lunch) so we would be hungry for supper. There's no way we'd be hungry for a big supper so soon after lunch.

That's my fear too! The only way I was thinking is if we just order a pizza and only each have a slice or something. I had to disappoint him but I really don't want to sit for lunch at 11:30 and then dinner so soon after.

Plus, I really feel this will be our last shot at Le Cellier given its changes......
