I told myself not another trip this year, but looking back at photos from our trip last month, I can't let my DS wait a whole year, he's only 3 afterall :)

Anyways since we both have annual passes that run out in november, I wanna sneak in a very cheap trip in the october holidays, 4 nights Tuesday to Saturday. Looking at santa fe or cheyanne its gonna be £500ish which is crazy, so I've looked at the kyriad on expedia, and it's comming out as £253 for 4 nights. That any good, or will I be able to get any cheaper?

Any thoughts on the kyriad hotel? Yes it's not Disney, but I'm saving a good 250 just for getting a shuttle bus to and from the park each day. We don't tend to go back to the hotel during the day, but the only thing I will miss is walking through the village on way back to hotel, but I'm sure I can miss it for the savings.

So with hotel at £253 and flights around £100 mark and maybe the shared shuttle option from airport, €100, I'm looking at under £500, which is ok I guess, then I will just have to get spending money and food money together

Also we usually book with disney themselves, and usually get travel insurance from them, anyone know anywhere that does pretty much the same cover?

have you tried travel republic, ive stayed in both dream castle magic circus for around £150 for a family of 4 for 3 nights.

Ohhh the explorers hotel looks nice, and only 30 more at 280 on travel republic. Might go for that one instead

I'd pay the extra £30 for the pool, we've stayed quite a few times at the Explorers and it's a great hotel for children.

I've got annual family travel insurance from M&S because they cover all of us (including my adult DDs) but I know there's cheaper out there. Have a look on Money Saving Expert to see what's recommended. You may even be covered with your bank account as some of them include travel insurance - one of mine does but as the cover isn't good enough for when we go to US I don't use it.

I've stayed in the explorers and loved it! We ended up going a day earlier than our booking at Cheyenne so booked explorers for the first night and I was honestly gutted we couldn't have stayed there longer. Ill definitely be booking explorers for our return visit
