For those of you that have done wait lists and are more familiar with availability at certain times of year I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

We currently have a BCV 2 bedroom- 2 queens on a wait list for arrival March 12 departure March 15. Right now Friday evening, March 14th our last night, is available. Should I grab Friday night and reset the wait list for Wednesday and Thursday evening?

I have a friend who said Friday nights are usually the hardest to come by and that I should grab Friday evening. I'm torn about just trying to piece this together versus waiting for the wait list to come through.

Would love some feedback from those of you who have done the wait list before. This is our first experience.

Point requirements go up on Friday night, so Friday night might not be the hardest to get. I'd think Sunday would be harder.

But grab that night and change your waitlist. Two nights will be easier to get than three.

You may want to consider waitlisting Wednesday and Thursday seperately to help you along. You would not have to wait for both days to come up at the same time.

Better advice is to look to see if your waitlisted dates are available on line and do it often. Waitlists are not automatically assigned as soon as available. So you may be able to find your available dates before they are posted to anyones waitlist.

There are many stories of people calling to check on their waitlist (prior to onlin system) only to be told that they were on the list to call that day because their waitlist came through. I personally had that happen to me. I also was able to grab a room that was on my waitlist before it hit my waitlist. I saw it online and called to have it swapped.

Good Luck

I had three nights waitlisted in October. On today's check one day came open so I grabbed it and cancelled the other wait list. I now have two waitlists one for a Thru and one for a Friday. Crossing my fingers that I don't have to move three times (Wed at BCV, Thur and Fri at SSR, Sat and Sun at BCV)

But if you are willing to take the risk, like I am, I would grab the available day and keep haunting the website.

I usually make my reservations during busy times (runDisney events) so if I cannot get what I want I piece it together so I would suggest you get whatever dates you can and readjust. Good luck.

I called this afternoon just to check and to talk about grabbing the Friday and reworking the wait list. My wait list came through earlier today. LOL!

Thank all of you for your suggestions and help.
