Thoughts on taking a 14 mo old into movies

Hi all
Trying to plan attractions now, I have a 7 and 4 year old and I'm sure they will love Philharmonic, ITTBAB and Muppets, etc. I remember them being very loud. How did your baby react to these shows? Is there an escape if she gets upset?

The movies are quite loud as are many of the attrations and shows. You can leave if she becomes distressed. When you enter the theater, try to be one of the first to enter a row and then move all the way over. That will put you near the exit door. The content is unlikey to upset a baby, but ITTBAB and HISTA might be intense for the 4 year old. Being near the exit will be a good idea all around. You can always ask a CM to direct you to the exit.

For ITTBAB, HISTA and Muppets 3D, you enter the theater from doors that are along one aisle. The rows or seats run straight across the theater. The exit doors are off the aisle on the other side. So, when you go in, if you go all the way yo yhe end of a row, you will be right in front of an exit door.
We have never been in HISTA or ITTBAB where someone has not left. Both of them might be quite intense for your 4 yr old.

We took our 16 month old DD to Philharmagic, Tough to be a Bug, and Muppets. The volume did not bother her at all, however, in Philharmagic there's a part where corks pop out of bottles and air blows in your face--she HATED that! She didn't cry, but it was close. She also didn't care for the parts where water splashes at you. Again, no crying, but she is very calm by nature. I would say it probably depends on the nature of your child to some extent.
