We just returned from a great week, Nov 1 - 9. We live close enough to go a few times a year, so we don't really attack WDW, we kind of happen from place to place. My comments will wander the same way.
1. Wishes: Most improved - amazing. We have long preferred Illuminations over any night show because of the timing/orchestration of the fireworks. Wishes is right up there. We even liked the soundrack (we did NOT like tapestry of Dreams soundtrack because the children sounded a little too much like the witches in Macbeth. Not a problem with Wishes). We fought the crowd at MK several times to see it. It was also very romantic from the beach at the Poly.
2. Mission Space: Fantastic. Much better than I expected. I love rollercoasters, etc., but I couldn't imagine liking a simulator ride. I was worried that the screen was so small that it wouldn't really wrap around you (which is my problem with Star Tours - not very realistic). But it turns out the screen is so close, it is like those virtual reality glasses. I never sensed we were spinning, nor could I hear the ride mechanism. They have done a great job on this ride. My only problem was that I kept hearing Forest Gump talking to Lieutenant Dan every time I saw the pre-show.
3. Mickey's Philharmagic: Again, fantastic. The best graphics ever for a 3-D show, and Donald just cracked us up.
4. Caribbean Beach Resort: Very nice, except the bed-spread was a little loud. We have been fortunate enough to stay in a few deluxe resorts and the All-stars in the past. We expected something a little more like the All-stars. Turns out, this was a very quiet resort and although there must be at least 10,000 rooms, it seemed very secluded.
5. Boma for breakfast: Great food, even our friends who may not like Disney very much loved this meal.
6. Jersey week: There really are a lot of people from NJ. Was the state closed for rehab or something?
7. Crowds/Fast Pass: This was a little more crowded (and at times a lot more crowded) than what we usually see in Early Dec or Early Feb. But FP makes it bearable.
8. Weather: We had ordered low 70's, but there was a mix-up and we got mid 80's. Big difference. Still better than summer.
9. It's a Small World: Does anyone have a copy of that song I could borrow?
10. My 57 year old dad thought Christa (from the Top 7 Must Do Attractions) was as hot as Samantha Brown - really cracked us up.

It just still seems so far away!
