We're a group of 4 adults, 2 have a reservation at Liberty Tree Tavern at 4:40 while my boyfriend and I plan on going to Disney Springs for lunch (we're staying at Riverside), and I don't think I would want to spend any precious party time sitting down to eat.

Oh dear did I make a mistake ?
I'm in the park that day anyway breakfast/brunch at 1900 time 10.40.
Fast passes booked till 4pm and thought 5.15 was good for Skippers.
Should I book an earlier time?

Either can work, but be sure to eat before the party starts. You don't want to waste party time in a reataurant.
Also, if you want to do any of the popular M&Gs, realize that people will be lining up about 60-90 minutes before the party starts and those lines will not get much shorter.

The last time we went to MVMCP, we had a small, late-ish (around 9am) breakfast and then had our main meal of the day at The Wave at 2pm. Ate, put on our party shirts, and were at the MK by 3:45, where they let us in early- no waiting! I think we had supper at Cosmic Ray's pretty late, like maybe during the fireworks? It was impossible to get a decent viewing spot for the projections, so we watched the fireworks from the windows at Cosmic Ray's while we ate our burgers.

Last year, me and the partner spent our MNSSHP day at the resort. No FPs at all. We were at the Poly so we booked one of the patios at the quiet pool and relaxed there all day, and ordered food from the Oasis pool bar relatively late because we were stuffed most of the day after breakfast at Kona. Around 4ish we went back to the room, showered, changed into our pirate costumes then headed over on the monorail.

This worked out perfectly for us, as we were nice and rested and had more steam for the party (especially for me, because I was sick with a cold). We ended up getting a quick bite at Pecos Bill right after Boo to You, because we watched in Frontierland. For us, I think this is the only way to do it.

For VAH next week I do have FPs but starting at 4p, and plan to hit up the Wave or something for a late lunch. Still haven’t decided tbh and kind of feel like winging it! I’m solo this trip so I have the flexibility. I do have the Before Fireworks dessert party though too so I’ll probably stick to lighter fare.

Hi! We have gone to the party the last 5 Novembers and have tried every combination possible for dinner lol! last year we went to the party at 4 and ate at Pecos Bill - Counter Service and the two years before we ate at Ohana and Grand Floridian (character meal) at 5 and then took the monorail over and got to the party around 7PM. For us, those hours that the park people are still in the park and they let party people in are crazy and chaotic and you can't use a fastpass unless you went to MK that day... so, I think through experience we have learned it is best to make an ADR at 4 in the park or around the park at a hotel on the monorail to avoid that 4-6 timeframe!

I don't have a park ticket for the day of the halloween party but was able to make fastpasses, so I have one 4-5 and one 5-6.
