What do you think?
Do you think where i've chosen will be enough food to share with dd? I'm hoping the ddp is enough for all 4 of us so that we don't have to pay out of pocket much for extra food. I plan on bringing some basic snacks from home like granola bars, etc. in case the kids get hungry.

I would just bring along some cereal for the kids and use some snack credits if you and dh want danish. I would purchase a couple of the refillable mugs (for you and dh at least) so you can get your morning coffee/tea (if you need that in the am).

Have a wonderful trip!!! :wizard:

We dont' drink coffee but we were thinking about getting the mugs anyway-seems like an easy way to fill up with water in the parks. Maybe bring some of those little lemonade flavor packet things to put in it.

Anyone else have any thoughts or input regarding our plan?

thanks!!!

You can probably share CS meal allowing you to use one for a real breakfast and one for lunch on those days. Keep in mind you can get 2 beverages with a CS breakfast. The platters are really big (eggs, potatoes, bread, meats) and easily shared. Seems I've read the Pepper Market as especially large portions.

You can get 2 beverages with one meal? I thought: one meal, one beverage, one dessert.

CS breakfast include juice, beverage, entree/combo meal

There is no dessert with breakfast so they add in a second drink. We usually got juice/milk as well as bottle of water which we took to the park.

Taken from the DIS Dining Plan description (my real info comes right from the Disney DP brochure though)
1 Counter Service meal including entrée, dessert (lunch/dinner) and single serving non-alcoholic beverage or 1 complete combo meal, dessert (lunch dinner), 1 juice with breakfast and single serving non-alcoholic beverage

Yeah I really like getting the two drinks with breakfast. We would use our refillable mugs at breakfast then get two bottles of water to take to the parks. It saved us using up too many snack credits on boring old water!

You can use snack credits for some breakfast items like muffins and fruit but not dessert credits. Desserts are usually something not portable with the exception of a cookie or brownie. the t-rex restaurant will not be on the ddp.I also don't think a snack credit is going to be much of a lunch on your MK day.
